Stu is wonderful... I wish I was able to roll with him in October.

Good for you seeing Shark Reef! I did my Vegas, saw line and itching to gamble I gave mine to a family with kids

If they were $50 each, you are actually right. I think I paid about $54 and the seats were good but not as close as yours.

Headed to Chinatown plaza today. I made a mistake purchasing the bus passes. It takes to long to get anywhere!! We ended up getting a Uber back to Cortez last night and in a Uber now going to Chinatown. I wish I would have just purchased a single day pass. Oh well live and learn lol.

Gambling wise I am down around $120 for the trip at this point. Honestly haven't did as much gambling as I expected to. So much to do in Vegas!! I may get into another poker game tonight at the Nugget. I really enjoyed playing there and the game was very soft. Lots of calling stations. I only lost one decent pot when a 9 high flush beat my 4 high. Played a moderately tight game and came out on top.

Pics from China plaza coming soon!!

China plaza was neat. It's not a huge place and mostly has restaurants but there where several shops as well. [IMG]

We ate at a Vietnamese seafood place. It was really good!

There is a big super market there and they have live seafood.

It was a interesting stop and we enjoyed ourselves. We left there and went to see China lights. I'll update on that a little later.

We left Chinatown and headed for the Chinese lights festival. If you are going to be in Vegas before the end of the month you owe it to your self to go see this. Tickets are very reasonable on Groupon. Spend the extra couple of bucks and get the VIP tickets. Well worth the $17 for two tickets!!

The lights where all hand made by engineers and came in from china just for this.

At 6:30 they had performances of some traditional Chinese acts. They where all really good!!

All the acts where really good and we enjoyed watching them.

Back downtown now and I'm headed to the Golden Nugget for some more poker action. I hope the game tonight is as good as last night!

On the waiting list for poker at the Nugget. I'm third in line.

Game was pretty loose again but the cards didn't go my way. Cashed out down $43.

In limit, cards definitely help a lot. And also tough to beat that rake at the 2/4 level. I need to get back into some live poker though...been too long.

I am down even more at this point. -$220 for the trip. I still don't think that is to bad. My wife had a great run at roulette! She is up $200 for the trip. This is what she cashed out for [IMG]

Yes that is a silver Strike from El Cortez!!

Wife set down and the second spins she hits the silver Strike.

Going to bed now. We will see what we get into tomorrow.

"Fixing to go..." Just where are you from? There aren't many people who use that expression who aren't from a radius of about 200 miles form me.

Wish I knew your plans. As a CET diamond card holder I could have gotten 2 free tix to Penn and Teller or the High Roller for the two of you.

I can't play live poker. I have no 'poker face'. When I get a decent hand I have a smile from ear to ear and can't, for the life of me, get it off of my face. :woohoo:

This is me. Looks at good cards, beams with pride, realises wrong move, looks stern, fails at poker.
