    Hey All,

So I have become a diamond member for Harrah's, and I receive virtually nothing of value. Yes they wave the resort fee (and that could be a lot), but as far as comp's I get like $5 free play, or when I book a room, I get like $3 or $5 off a room, and virtually no free rooms. Now, I have seen some diamond members getting tons of free stuff as well as comps like $150 free play. I was wondering if they look at the type of play that got me to diamond and mess with me. Let me explain, I got diamond by playing bubble craps. Basicly I will put my card in 2 spots and play the line and don'ts at the same time and at a very low risk I can get to diamond without losing much money. So my question really is, do they treat me different because I don't loose $$$$$$$?

    Thanks,
    Mr Sunshine

It's because your expected daily loss (which they call your ADT, your average daily theoretical loss) is tiny.

CET gives comps for rooms, free play, and food on this basis. It has nothing to do with your status. Status buys you the basic benefits of that tier, such as free resort fees and entrance to the diamond lounge. it doesn't guarantee anything more than that.

Bubble craps was a heck of an advantage play at some casinos when it came out.

    Absolutely they will.

Your tier or Status at any Casino entitles you to the tier or status benefits and that’s it. You can earn status through play, or in some cases money spent at resorts or status matching from partners or competitors. Because of this you can skip lines, get priority help, and other benefits.

But the benefits listed above are very separate from comps. Comps like rooms, FreePlay and food credit are mostly based off of table ratings and theoretical loss at machines and tables. If you are theoretically losing less money then they will not offer you comps. Comps are the casinos way to further incentivize players willing to lose money; they want to bring them back. Lower tier players who gamble and lose more will definitely get better comps than you based on what you described.

Which casino allows you to earn tier credits in the manner you describe ? as far as I know, you cannot earn tier credits on bubble craps.

CET in Vegas does at 1 TC for $200 of resolved bets.

It is possible some locals joints still have a better earning rate than this.

Yes. As I have said numerous times,

Level gets access, and ADT gets comps.

Tier credits get you to levels, like Diamond.

REAL play and a good ADT get your comps.

As you have pointed out, even a Diamond can see offers of only $5 freeplay.

Ditto the above, but lemme add:

Sometimes, trying to get the advantage on the casino results in you not getting what you think you're gaining the advantage on. My advice? Spend a few sessions NOT trying to minimize loss. Mix in a little slot play. Throw out a few prop bets. I play a ton of live craps and some VP, but always run a little bit through the slots or play Three Card. My outlay isn't insane, and I get decent comps from most properties (my local CET always shafts me, but the action is deserved and mutual, haha). You just have to find that balance to really make premium tiers worth it. Good luck!
