Thanks DaiLun - we ate at American River Cafe for breakfast and split a club at Hard Rock Cafe for Lunch.

I re read your Tahoe trip report for pointers.

It’s on the 11th Floor Lake Tower. it’s a big corner window and not entire Lake View - but still a nice view.

So today we went to Incline Village nothing much and turned around. Today is old fogey day at Harrah’s and Harvey’s 5x on slots and 3x on VP. Plus 55 TCs gets you a Free Buffet plus $1 coffees at Starbucks and I’ve been on a mission.

I hobbled up to the TR desk and got my $1 sticker for Starbucks and instructions on swiping card etc. After we got back from Incline Village I was on a mission. Things were not great on VP again I limped along on 3 of a kinds and pairs. Finally got enough for my 55 TCs for the Buffet. Then the Kiosk wouldn’t recognize my card so I had to go up to the TR desk. I was flattered when the lady thought I wasn’t old enough and that was the problem. She asked if I was old enough. Sadly I hung my head and sighed yes- I’m 56 got this promotion beat by a year. Got it worked out and got my voucher for the “free” buffet. Went back to the room and flaunted it in front of the husband. Oh and I stopped and got my $1 coffee - wasn’t in the mood for coffee but for a buck.

After my 55 TC win I took my husband’s card to the casino. I made him ante up $20 - believe it or not that was close to what it cost to get his 55 credits. I hopped around on VP and slots. Had better luck got a straight flush and lots of 3OAK and full houses. Plus found a Willy Wonka that was generous and before I knew it was way past the 55 credits needed for hubbys buffet.

I went to cash out my voucher and dropped a penny. I was a little in the way of a man behind me but a penny earned. I knew when I bent down to pick it up he got a good shot of my cleavage. He called me darlin’ I would have stayed to flirt but I really had to pee. When I got upstairs to the room I told my husband I think I have a boyfriend. Unfortunately I never even saw his face- but I would recognize the voice again.

We played before eating Dinner at Fatburger- much better than the Golden Arches. It was dripping grease. My cholesterol is good- Husband not so much. I think I heard his coronary arteries whimpering.

I had another decent win on Willy Wonka and the husband had a decent win for him on Buffalos.

Then after eating I got a 4OAK at Harrahs. Pretty much kept even today. Wish I could rack up credits like DaiLun.

FYI I'm pretty sure Harveys has a lot of full pay bonus poker for quarters...given the bump up in pays for certain 4OAKs, there's zero reason to play that jacks or better game.

Thanks I’ll try to be a little more observant. I did play a little Bonus poker but I kept hitting 2OAK - like crazy and it only paid 5 - on the JOB it pays 10. I seem to be stuck on 2& 3 OAK - I played for several hours today and had only the one 4OAK. I’ll venture back to Bonus. I also played some triple play and had no luck. Will also hit the ultimate X - I love it but it has never been very generous.

Go to the avalanche bar (or heavenly bar) at Harvey’s.
They have full pay bonus poker for quarters

That sounds like bonus poker deluxe, not bonus poker. Regular bonus poker pays 2x on a two pair hand.

No there’s a shitty version of bonus poker that pays 10 for a full house..but only even money for two pair..it’s like 95% EV vs the FullPay 99%

Brutal, that's almost as bad as the bonus poker at the Derek Stevens joints.

I think it’s the same paytable. They got it over on people because people are told “Look at the FullHouse and flush payout and that’ll tell you how good a game is”
So they got it set to 10/8 (fullhouse/flush) to make it look REALLY good..what you DONT notice is that two pair only pay even money

Having a better day today. Bars weren’t open yet. I’m sure I could probably sit at them. I played some Bonus Poker on a 5 cent progressive. That $5 lasted a long time before I had to stick another $5 in. I played $15 through then saw a 3-10 Times play. I played nickel again and jumped around from 3-5 play. Had several 4OAK but never good ones with a kicker. But I did come out ahead and then went over to Willie Wonka and made a few little gains. I’m up about $70 today. Here’s one of my disappointing draws on Bonus Poker - I think it was Double Bonus - 3 play was dealt 3 Aces: got 4 on one of them - no kicker.[emoji30]

So moving day. Sitting at Reno Airport. Got sick as a dog Tuesday night. Altitude got to me. Luck on VP sucked.

Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope the lower elevation and drier air are helpful for a quick recovery!

Thanks @Sonya Much better back on lower elevation. I had been feeling weak light-headed and queasy with gi issues while in Tahoe. Then Tuesday night after eating at the Forest Buffet I paid homage to the porcelain throne. Luckily it was very short lived and I brought Zofran with me and was able to sleep that night and woke up feeling good. We went on a drive Wednesday to Truckee and did some shopping. I got a cute T-shirt for my Grandson. I didn’t do much Wednesday and very little gambling.

Planet Hollywood is very nice quick check in. Can see the Fountains - not a full view but still nice. We ate lunch at Pink’s I had a groupon - it was okay. Later this pm we will be going to Kiss Monster mini golf.
