"Perhaps you'd be more comfortable at one of our lower stakes tables."
That same type thing happened to me at the old Mirage baccarat room. Got the nerve and the bankroll up to play at a hundred dollar table. Sat down, got my 10 black chips, put one out. The dealer, just like in "Swingers," taps the $300 minimum sign and motions behind him to the "lower stakes table."

Passed out just dead drunk one night playing slots at the old Plaza. No place you'd rather be unconscious in public I always say. Don't know if I was out for 15 minutes or 15 seconds but, if I had seen it, I would have laughed.

My first trip in Vegas -
I got asked to leave "before Security shows up" at Excalibur.
Too much "free" beer at the Craps table......I argued a losing $5 bet.
What a rookie !.......in many ways !......

Next morning the maid comes in and starts changing the first bed ---
My buddies left me to sleep it off.
I'm on the floor ( sleeping naked ) between the beds and pop up to see what's going on ?
I think she ran out of the room ?

There is probably a maid website somewhere with a similar story.

Back in the 90s we were playing slots as we walked through MGM. We stopped at one machine and dropped in a nickel but it fell through. My wife tried several more times and it kept falling through. Finally an old guy next to her chuckles and pointed at the $5 sign. Funny to us now but embarrassed at the time.

Girlfriend puked at the craps table. Fortunately not on the craps table. Everyone kept playing. Including me. What can I say, it was a good roll.

had to think long and hard because I havent had any embarrassing incidents...the one funny one I can remember .

I hang out at Carnaval Court a lot and they dont play with the drinks, nice and strong. they do not have a restroom so you have to leave and either use HArrahs or the Linq

after many Jack and splash of cokes, im feeling pretty good and need to use the restroom, i pick harrahs, the restroom right past big elvis on the left, Ive been to it a hundred times. when you enter the short hallway, there is a mirror, then a door opening to the right for the restroom.

so I take a leak and about to walk out, the mirror and lighting , with the fact I was drunk, it looks like the hallway.

so i walk out and instead of turning left, I seen the hallway in the mirror, I went right and smacked right into the mirror, when I bumped my reflection, i stepped back and said, "my fault"...i immediately realized what happened and proceeded to walk out and back to the bar like nothing happened

one that happened but not to me.

In harrahs New Orleans Palm room, the diamond lounge. I usually sit or stand at the bar but this time i was sitting at a table talking with friends. i was facing the entrance/exit. they have a velvet rope that divides the entrance/exit that some people still cant figure how to use. on some big events they will hook the rope across the entrance so people dont walk past without swiping if there is no person there

this particular night, it was slow but they still put the rope across. this old guy, had to be late 60s, he walks in thinking hes still in his prime. he throws his left leg over the rope, follows with his right at which his foot catches the rope, he done a nice tumble and ate the floor pretty hard. one of our friends, runs over to help him up and see if hes ok.

the guy said nothing, he turned around and power walked out the room, lol

spent a week at the Sahara back in the 70's. Two things happened.

1st. i was drunk drunk drunk and attempting to play blackjack. I was drinking strawberry margaritas, probably 7 or 8. I was in full make up mode. The dealer finally told me i was too drunk to play
and sent me packing. got to the room and looked in the mirror. Strawberry margarita stained my entire mouth and i had major raccoon eyes all the way down my cheeks. :D

2nd running (drunk again) through the casino and tried to jump the line ropes to whatever show they were headed to. Didn't quite clear them and ate it. Ambulance came, and took me to Sunset Hospital.
torn ligaments and crutches later, i took a cab back to the Sahara where i proceeded to play Keno.

i broke up with alcohol shortly after LOL

This is my favorite so far in this thread. I can just feel that moment of clarity when he dealt that one card.

I'm not sure if the dealer would have been out of line or not to say "sometimes people split 7s instead of doubling". In any case I am certain the floor got a chuckle out of it. :)

A couple of years ago me and my best buddy happened to be in town on business at the same time. We finish business and start playing and somehow end up at O'Shea's at a cheap BJ table. A newlywed couple and their family join us and drinks started flowing quickly, shots and beers. (mind you I'm 43 at the time).

After several hours and way too much to drink I have to use the restroom. You have to go outside toward the High Roller for closest bathroom. Make it, very wobbly. On the way back I decided I was really dizzy and tired and I sit down leaning against a wall. And I throw up all over myself. A lot. I have enough wit about me to pull my phone out and text my buddy. Could barely see but I remember typing 'help. Can't walk. Outside. My chips'. When he finds me LV's finest is assessing the situation and he asks if I'm under arrest. Thankfully they want to ensure I get home (Venetian) ok so we make the walk of shame, me covered in my own puke. I had to fly home the next morning and that was the longest flight ever.
Can honestly say I got sick on my 21st bday and literally not sick again from drinking until I was 43, in front of 1000's of strangers. I was 'that guy' for that night. Very proud moment. Now every time we see the spot he points it out....jerk!

Yeah...I was hoping that it would have been a 6 or 7 that he got, looking like he was an expert card-counter...but alas, no. :poke:

I've seen folks wanting to fight over someone causing them to give back an over payment. They were lucky they got to keep it. I've even seen casinos say surveillance called down and they take back money that was paid in error several hands before.
