MSS & Cal starting Young At Heart giveaways (open to everyone)

Received an email today that MSS & Cal are starting Young At Heart giveaways on Wednesdays. $100 drawing and then $500 at 5 PM. Must be present to win.

It sucks for us because our normal trip is Fri-Tues.

 

To include non Vegas residents?

 

Joe was just there. Getting on wax in 5 minutes. I swiped first thing in the morning and the YAH logo popped up surprising me with one entry. Later I swiped again to see how many entries I had earned and was told no promotions/ no drawings for this day. So it looks like locals only at the moment.

 

Reread and it is 5 $100 drawings at 5 PM, but, I don't see any locals only restriction.

 

Emailed GM, awaiting an answer.

 

I think we did this at MSS in May. Kim had a zillion entries, I had two. I won $100 free play.

 

This extra perk would be nice.
I don't understand why non Vegas residents can qualify for YAH at Freemont but not at MSS and Cal.

 

Different management? Fremont has a GM and Cal/MSS have a different one.

 

I guess I would have thought that would be a corporate decision and not an individual property one.
If your going to give the $ away anyway why exclude anyone? It just doesn't make a lot of sense. It's not like MSS and the Cal really target and cater to locals.

 

Well Suncoast has had YAH going all the way back to 2008, when we lived there. Maybe cooperate gives each GM autonomy to make their own decisions???

 

That has to be it.
I guess the guy over at the Freemont does it since he has a lot more walk-in tourist business being located at the main intersection of FS. That's a competitive corner.

I got lucky in their Take It or Trade It drawings and maybe lighting will strike here again.

 

Well I guess I did get 1 entry just not as lucky as Ty. And not being a local I guess I can attest to it being beyond locals. But no multiplier either was noted. Oh well, no loss.

 

And by point multipliers you're referring to getting like 5x slot points for that day also?

 

Like the ones at all other Boyds. Up to 50x (though most I have gotten was 20x). When staying at Cal or MSS I either go to Fremont or bus to Sams on YAH Wednesdays
