TI playing and comps

We're staying at TI in a few weeks and first time ever going to Vegas. Do comps work the same at all places similar to local casinos? After the few days of gambling can I use whatever I accumulated on my card towards our hotel bill? Also, any other tips of casinos on the strip that have the best rewards and comps? We'll obviously play at TI quite a bit but what others are worth it to play? I plan on playing roughly $1,000 a day so not sure what that'll even get me at TI or other casinos

 

I think TI used to be owned by MGM and probably uses the same underlying software that was in place when MGM sold it. A lot of the verbiage on their player's club FAQ page is almost identical to MLife.

• 1 cent in PointPlay per $1.50 coin in on slots ($4.50 on VP) - you convert PointPlay to FreePlay when you want to use it. (This is how MGM used to do it before they changed to 1 cent in PointPlay and 1 cent in Express Comps for $3 coin in)

I'm a ti player so I hope I can help. At CET casinos (Total rewards) you earn reward credits. Those can be used for your room bill, or converted to free play (at a lower value than equal). At MGM casinos you earn both free play and express comps. Only the express comps can be used to close out your portfolio.

At ti, you only earn free play. Nothing you earn on your card can be used at checkout, from my understanding. It can only be used for free play. BUT if you charge something to your room, and you play through enough, you would have to go to the club desk (that is how you find a host) and see if they can take anything off the back end.

But you cant earn your way to credits off your bill. But enough play (if you plan on burning though $1K on slots, thats $10K coin in per day) will get their attention and a host should be able to knock off some food charges at the end, and will most definitely take off the resort fee if you paid it.

As far as other clubs, ti will get you the most back. That penny per $1.50 is the best rate in town. MGM "looks" like they do the same, but with so many specialty machines ($10 coin-in for the 1+1 penny not $3) it isn't the same return.

Venetian credits you back on Theo, so no one knows what the fuck they actually get. Total rewards is $5 for a penny in free play VS ti $1.50 per.

$20 sandwich at checkin should get you upgraded to a petite suite. Worth the money if you dont mind a little bribe.

 

Check the TI player desk often, last Dec. they had a lot of small daily promotions/drawings.

 

Do these have strip views as well?

 

My last one got me a view of the Venetian, part of their pool and a good view down the strip. So yes!

 

In my opinion, TI rooms have very good views. The Strip curves at the point between Mirage and TI, and TI hotel is very close to the street, so it has good view to many different directions.

 

What casino is going to be my best option to play that has a good variety and a decent chance to get comped rooms for future trips?

 

comped rooms at different locations? Hands down, CET casinos.....of course for that you have to deal with shitty VP and tight slots.......

 

What are considered cet casinos again? And what's vp? Lol sorry still new to everything Vegas

IMO, Ti is quite generous with room comps. Usually, I get a little FP too. Resort fees are optional (which is always nice). One time they gave me a great suite. I mostly play video poker with a $1000 ish budget per day.

Right. TI is very tough to get back-end comps. I guess their hosts are instructed to only give away 10% of the theo.

 

They told me the usual "you need to play off /pay off your room first, before back-end comps are considered."

I asked how many points that would take. The answer I got was 7000-8000 points a day. Even at $3 per point, that is more play than I could handle. Their better VP is $10 per point - which would be nearly impossible, unless you bang the $2 all day and half the night.

 

It's $4.5 per point. On good machines, $15 per points.
So 8000 points would be $36k coin in.

 

My bad. I knew it was some kind of unattainable (for me) number.

 

Stay here since the opened always well treated. you could ask for corner room great view! going back in Oct.

 

Where are they at with table games? I'm assuming $100 per roll/hand, for four hours minimum?
