This is a terrible idea. I think the article was so pro industry & anti player it may have been written by the company who makes the monitors.

We knew it was coming but it's still annoying.

I dont even drink that much when I'm gambling because the combination of drinking and gambling doesnt have good end results (for me) but I still find it annoying.

I like how in the article they try to list the (lame) reasons customers should like it. Their reasons didnt sway me.

Weird, loosening customers up with free alcohol used to be considered a good strategy for casinos. I guess more customers will now be clear-headed while gambling. Probably a good thing for them, they will lose less.

This is the first step; free drinks at Vegas Strip casinos will be a thing of the past within 10 years.

Per person and on a sliding scale (that only goes up) based upon the quality of your room and level of your play.

It's already been a thing of the past for me, I bet I buy 50% of my drinks from the bar as it is. When I would play slots I'd never get a cocktail waitress for the life of me and got tired of waiting.

Hey, Wanker, 2004! But yeah, been a while.

Congratulations - you'll now be able to see the parent club on your gambling trips.

With all this money the casino's will save now they can do away with the resort fee's and pay their employees a decent salary so I don't have to tip every person I come across!

    slots printing drink vouchers

    pros:
red light turns green on machine once a voucher is put back into the machine to redeem it
waitresses get notified machine number when light turns green
    possibly faster service

    cons:
casino sets drink prices however they see fit? no standard pricing every casino is different.
comp drinks count against your player card account?
over $400 value of drink "comps" could possibly trigger a 1099 based on your total win/loss for the year?

I know what you are saying 2008 is a long way in the rear view mirror....

I am excited about that... as a hawks fan the blues relationship made me uncomfortable. Plus it sounds like they will put an emphasis winning across the organization.

Hershey always did well when Mcphee was with capitals.

I love Vegas but I can think of many other ways of blowing thousands of $$$ without wondering what other ways I can have someone's hand dipping into my wallet at every opertunity :vomit:come on :bang:
