Saturday day and night. Phew. Needed a break from the sunshine. We woke up early again - not to any sounds from the neighbors though! Thank goodness.
Decided we would walk up the strip this morning. (Or down, I am directionally challenged). We walked through crystals to Aria and played row 802. No luck for us there.

    My walking shoe porn!

Aria is so beautiful. Early in the morning it is peaceful and smells so good.

No pics unfortunately - I forget my head when we lose $300 before 8am.

Continued walking down (or up, I still don't know!). Walked through The Park and finally saw this statue. I am. It sure why I thought it was closer to the road.

Pretty cool. I liked this area in the morning when it's empty! Not sure what it's like after dark though.

Ended up at NyNy. Starbucks of all places. [IMG]

Oh well. My husband has indulged me with momofuku. I can't ask him to become a foodie overnight.

No money spent at NyNy and we started walking back to Cosmo.

We were finally going to meet my husbands friend for lunch today. I've never met him but my husband says I will like him. (Humph).

Back at Cosmo hubs makes a sports parlay bet on baseball. Indians in the over and 2 other games. I don't listen when he talks about this- so when he gets upset later because the Indians aren't scoring I'm like, ya sorry your team is losing. He looks at my obvious 3 heads and says "I bet them on the parlay and if they don't score I lose the whole bet! Oh. Ya. Um sorry? He taught me VP about 7 years ago and this sports betting thing hasn't caught on with me yet. Overs/Unders all Greek to me!

So gambling this am has stunk and it's time to meet his friend and ex co worker downstairs at Valet. I only know this because the guy has bragged about needing to park his Porsche where it will be secure. (Ugh). Whatever.
We meet him and head over to Bellagio. I have a thing for the B. It took care of me for years. I love it there. The friend has never been. He's lived in Vegas for 6 months and HAS NEVER BEEN to Bellagio. Who does that? So I convince him that we need to go to Olives so he can see the fountain show. Again he's NEVER SEEN THAT EITHER! I'm getting a headache already and he won't shut up about his great new life out here.
So Mr Joey my fave bartender at Olives and I share some eye rolls and he makes me a Nectar drink. It was delish!

I had the Greek salad with salmon (sorry no pics. You can imagine it though. Green leafy stuff and feta and 4 oz of the most delicious salmon I've had in months!).

After the fountain show and lunch we toured the conservatory and then headed back to Cosmo.
The friend left and I was ever so thankful...

I had an appt at The Drybar over at Miracle Mile shops at 3. We had tickets for Journey at Hard Rock and I needed to represent 80's rock. Ya totally kidding. I just didn't want flat hair!

Walking for the day as of 3pm
    [IMG]
Only 2 miles were done in my tennis shoes. [emoji30]

We tried for our 3rd royal before heading across the street with no luck. Like none. Not even a 4Oak... so I go to drybar -thank goodness my husband knew which door to go in! I would have put an extra mile in trying to find it! He went to the PH sportsbook to wait for me and watch his ill fated baseball games....

My water at dry bar. I couldn't continue drinking and make the concert!

Ok place. Not the best shampoo I've ever had and not the worst. No water in my ears is a win!
    And the final product!

    It lasted all night!

I would do it again. For $49 plus tip and tax. It was nice for me not to have to rush to do my hair before a fun night out.

I am currently typing this from the Sahra Spa at Cosmo. I am being summoned for my facial and massage! Will finish after my Mothers Day pampering!

Saturday continues.. we headed over to Hard Rock around 5pm and ate at the Pink Taco. I have never eaten there and was only slightly disappointed. Mainly in the amount of time it took for our server to finally notice us. Maybe 10 minutes. We had some good people watching though. Rehab pool party people were leaving. I feel bad for those that can't handle their alcohol. They were stumbling bumblin out of there.
My cabbie friend says "that is the Uber demographic".

Had an awesome margarita at Pink Taco. pina-vanilla margarita.

I ordered shrimp enchiladas with salad. [IMG]
My husband had the steak and chicken fajitas. He said they were great. My enchiladas were ok.

We gambled a bit before the concert. My husband had a terrible gambling day and that turned into an even worse gambling night. Me, not too bad though...

Walked into the concert plus $200.

We had great seats, 8 rows back center stage. Only problem was the group of 20 or so drunk 40 somethings in front of us. I am a 40 something and I was feeling good but I was not hanging on everyone around me, spilling my drink and screaming when there wasn't anyone on stage. Midway through the concert one of their friends ended up in the men's bathroom and it had to be closed for cleaning. They left when that happened.

Concert was good according to my husband. I am not into listening to guitar solos. I loved the songs he sang that I knew. The new singer is a ball of fire on stage. The other band members all seem to be having a great time.

After the concert we wanted to wait to leave until most of the concert goers had taken their Uber's and cabs. We sat in the center bar and played. My husband finally finally finally at 11:40pm got his first 4OAK for the day!

He got 2 more after that and then we called our cab and headed back to Cosmo.

Sunday Sunday Sunday. The day after Journey. We got back to Cosmo around 12:30am. My husband was feeling like he deserved some 4OAKS so he played at chandelier bar and I went roaming. He sends me these pictures.

    And then
    [IMG]

While he was winning I was playing Big Bang Theory
    [IMG]
And then Fau Du Luc ? Ugh. What an awful game. I don't know why I sank every penny I had on me into it ($300!) I got nothing, zero! Why did I stay? The only answer that works - because degenerate ...

Went to bed and up around 9am to have breakfast at Overlook Grill and then off to the spa.
    Entrance hallway.

    My first room for massage.

The "bridge room" where you wait after your first service for the 2nd service.

    My 2nd room for facial
    [IMG]

They were both awesome treatments! The spa was crowded with Mothers Day mothers getting pampered.

Laid out by Chelsea pool after.

Then went to wicked spoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We have a 2 for 1 with my husbands identity card. So honestly this was our cheapest meal of the trip! Well besides in and out and secret pizza.

    My first plate.
The baked oysters with chorizo was my favorite. Also their hummus was so good.
I had one other plate and then a small sample of desserts.

I love sweets but I am never very impressed by buffet desserts. I would rather use my My Vegas coupon and get something at JeanP at Aria.

After dinner we walked because - full- We walked over to miracle mile shops and walked and walked. Made it back to Cosmo around 6:30 and figured we would try our luck. We had $1k left on our bankroll and really hadn't done as well as other trips. Until we sat back down at the machine I hit my Royal on the first night. Ultimate X multiplier. Not the regular ultimate crack. This is a game where you get multiple multipliers on one line for a flush, 3 of a kind, straight... not on all 3 lines though.

We had just gotten a 3 of a kind on 2 lines so we had 2 multipliers and then we were dealt this!
I was so excited. I videoed the results! It was amazing!

No video upload here. But I also took pictures!

So we had a fighting chance now.
We didn't get any good hands on the multiplier rows until ...

    And finally
    [IMG]

We now had $2500 in our pockets! I love having cash in our pockets the last night!! We had lost around $7k at this point and we were ready to stop the bleeding...

So off to the room we go. Had to pack and get ready for our 9:40am flight back to Tampa.

Loved being able to see this again.

Monday morning. First time I've seen clouds
    [IMG]

    Unused drink tickets...

    To recap
We stayed at Cosmo on a 5 day comp with $175 free play and $100 resort credit. We only did $48,185 coin through (vs $175k on our last trip). I didn't check at Suncoast, RedRock or Total Rewards. But it wasn't near what we have done in the past. I think mainly because we weren't winning anything big. We weren't even getting the small consistent wins that keep you going.

Weather was beautiful. Food was good and the company of my husband and partner in degeneracy was the best.

Already picking out dates for our September trip!

Loved following along - those VP wins scattered throughout and especially the last night were great! If one HAS to leave Vegas, leaving on a high note after a winning night makes it a little easier.
5am choc covered strawberries? Heck yeah!!
