This message was sent to the Silver Striker Club Publicity & Promotions Chair

"Good morning Warren, yes the information you heard is true. Our executive team has made the decision to not renew any further replenishment of our Silver Strike coins and once our current inventory is depleted the machines will no longer be offered. Currently we are only offering the Silver Strike slot machine at the Palazzo. I expect the current inventory to last between 4 to 6 weeks. Since this decision was just made, I do not have any further information as to how long we will continue the buying back portion of this program as soon as I get that information I will pass it on to you. Thank you, Tony Flores."

If you were accumulating for the $300, you'd better get them now. I'm sending a buddy down to get mine next week.

Correct. Now it's only the El Cortez and Four Queens.

why? cost to high to maintain or some lucky high rollers (like you @DaiLun) made the machines un-profitable?

Ha! I doubt that. I'm guessing it was a maintenance issue. One additional task that you have to train each of your slot attendants.

ah crap. I have 11 clears, 2 blues and 1 red. I guess I need to go there to cash out my clears and keep the colored ones before it's too late.

All of them (clears and colored) are worth $10 when exchanged at the cashier. Some collectors might value the blue/red caps more.

Just wondering if you or your contact know if there are still $300 strikes available at the V/P.

Unknown, but I will find out next week when my buddy goes down. Originally, I was going to have hime pick one up if they were still available, but since I have 3, I'm just gonna take the $360 for the 36 I have.

Clear caps normally go for $12-$12.50 when traded between Strikers. You will often see Strikers selling 30 clears for $360 at a QQQQ $300 strike distribution.

Why have a 90% machine sitting there when you can replace it with a machine you can set at 82% (or lower if necessary!).

Yup, I agree, someone has to refill the strike machine regularly so that would be one less task for the casino to do. Unless the strike people fill the machines themselves, I'm not sure.

Ah rats, guess I should have played a lot more had I known about this last week. I would have tried harder to get the colored strikes.

When I was at The Venetian a month ago, there was a problem with Strike machine where it didn't spit out the coin. Had to wait 20 minutes before someone came over to open it and do their magic.

If anyone has any extra clear ones they would want to get rid of at $12 a pop I would like to get a few of them
Never saw them before and will definitely be on the look out for the machines when I go in June.

I noticed the same thing when I was there 2 weeks ago. Lady was playing the machine and when she won a strike it broke so someone had to come over to open it up to get the strike.

After she got her strike she cashed out and I got on the machine and won 1 strike after putting in $30.

Not sure, it was there as of April 14 but guess because it was breaking they could have removed it.

That has been a problem at V/P, I've never had that problem anywhere else.
