I think I'll try the vegas strip club experience during my coming trip. I think I've narrowed my options to Sapphire, Palomino, or Little Darlings. I'll be going solo for a couple of hours, probably on Friday or Saturday night. Considering getting one of their "package deals". I am no longer a heavy drinker and would like to keep trip cost under $250. Which of these clubs would you choose?
Also, do these clubs limo rides include the return trip back to the hotel?

There are packages for solo but they all include a some drinks. Except LD's of course, no booze there. You might want to consider sitting at the rail, I enjoy that. But the rail can fill up on a Fri/Saturday night. If you are going primetime and want to gurantee a seat then buy a package with the limo. You'll have a guaranteed place to sit. l If you only have a couple of hours you should just go to one cluib (obviously). I would suggest if you really want nude go to Palomino, otherwise Sapphire will suit your needs well. Just by no means take a cab. You'll pay a big entrance fee. If you must take a cab (or Uber) then I would suggest going to the Palomino. You can be dropped off at Jerry's Nugget and then walk the block to the club. Just don't tell the cabbie your plan, they make good money dropping guys off at strip clubs.

Yeah I'm aware of the free limo, but the concern was whether they would pick me up solo. I figure one of the package deals would eliminate any hassle or worry. I think I'm leaning toward Sapphire just for the spectacle factor of a huge club (biggest in the country?) with 300+ strippers. That sounds like fun to me!

They'll pick you up solo if you are on the strip or close to it (Rio/Palms, etc). You may wait a bit on a weekend but if you are staying at a major casino there's probably someone else from there also going near the same time. Sapphire on a weekend is downright overwhelming. All other times not all of the club is open so to really experience it you have to Friday/Saturday night after 11 or so.

Looks like Palomino will now only send a limo for 2 or more, not solo. I don't know if that's every night or just weekends or what.

From actual experience, Spearmint will allow you to take taxi to back door and enter that way. Supposedly they want to put your name a "list", but after four visits this way, nobody ever asked. Cab is around $10-$15 - and you must go to back door. You can leave by front door where there are lots of cabs waiting.

I thought about Spearmint but it sounds a bit expensive with a high hustle factor.

Here's an excerpt from Arnold about Spearmint:

I visited Rhinos last week. They still have free entry before 8 pm and half priced or reduced drinks before 8 pm. Hustle factor was low before 9 pm.

Part of the problem is that out of town dancers come in between Thursday through Saturday and want to make as much as they can so the hustle is extremely high. The "vultures" also come in later in the evening and will hustle for more $$.

That's why I like going to Rhinos early. Free entry, cheap drinks and still a number of great looking girls working the early shift. In fact you are able to sit and chat with some girls as it isn't as busy before 9 pm. The girls get bored and will spend a little more time with you since there aren't as many customers for them to hustle. The atmosphere is more relaxed also and you don't have to fight to move around (like later in the night).

While the renovations are nice, I am not impressed with them. The new area doesn't have a big seating area (a number of booths though) and they only open up the area later at night when it gets real crowded. I usually left by the time they opened up the newer side. They are still doing renovations though, the VIP room by the bathroom is being renovated and the area by the entry that used to have a small bar and small stage (and the bathroom in that area) has been closed off for renovation.

The area past the club looks like a parking garage. Too bad, they should have expanded to that area and make it a much larger club. It really gets packed later in the evening so they need more club (and extra stage) space. I still think that Rhinos have the best looking (on average) girls in town.

Hmmm, I don't take much of what Arnold says if he likes Sophia's IMHO.

Last Summer I was staying at The Mirage and booked one of the solo trip packages at Palomino.

They pick you up in a shuttle that looks like something a chain hotel (Renaissance, Marriot) would send to the airport. You'll ride with eight - ten other people.

I guess when you factor everything in, the $60 overall isn't horrible. It included transportation to and from the club (I seem to remember the guy saying they won't return you to a Strip location after 1 AM....but I could be/probably am wrong on that...they do stop returns after a certain point, is the point), entrance fee, two free drink vouchers.

Arnold likes places that have doors you can close, I think that's why he mentioned Sophia's. His headline in his Sophia's review is "Luxurious Strip Club but Empty".

So with that package how do you get the return ride? Do you set a time? Just tell someone (who?) when you're ready to go?
This sounds fairly reasonable to me since I value the transportation at around $35 for both ways, 2 drinks and admission for $25 or so. I think I saw that the Little Darlings deal also includes a 2 for 1 lap dance coupon too.

They have a set time when the guy(s) will depart. Every hour, from what I remember.

Whoever picks you up will let you know what that time table is...or just contact the club via email (or send a message on Yelp to Andrew).

I remember that night I just wanted to spend a few hours gambling downtown, so I didn't even use the return service.

It's definitely a reasonable deal, though. You're spot on with the transportation and drink cost...and they're charging you $30 at the window if you show up after 6:30ish, to boot....so $60 is pretty good.

So I'm here in Vegas, need to decide which club to go to. Would be interested in meeting up with anyone that wants to go in a group as well...
