I was curious has anyone ever used the LVA buy one get one Mirage buffet as a solo diner? Will they do 50% off? I imagine I could find someone in line and each pay half, I'm an extrovert, but would like to just avoid that if possible. Thanks!

Tried this couple of years back. Got a very quick and assertive "NO" from the person I believed to be in charge of things at the entryway.

Didn't have any luck funding another solo traveler either. Perhaps this is because I'm more introverted but Mirage seems to be a paradise of middle aged, already comped couples

There's reason the buffet reads 2-1 and not 50% off.

Could you buy one and use the free one the next day?

Have you done that anywhere else?

Last time I was in Vegas the tix4dinner place was doing 30% off for Mirage

No, 2-1 means two people eating at same time.

Usually if you pay together you sit together. I would not sit with a stranger in line for half off.

I would skip the Mirage buffet. Ate there last year, average at best with a cafeteriA, self serve everything vibe.

I find Mirage's buffet to be the best on the strip as for as pricing and quality go. I know there's better buffets but they're also more money. And I have a bogo through both LVA and myVegas. I don't think I'll eat there twice though. So many other places to eat. I'm trying Wicked Spoon for the first time since I'm staying at Cosmo and have a bogo from LVA. Might also try a restaurant at Palms to use the 50% off LVA coupon. My goal this trip is to get every meal at some discount. Might be hard with the Easter holiday, but I'll give it my best shot.

I have heard of some buffets allowing you to take a take out container for the second buffet, for later use. Don't remember which buffet, by someone posted they used 2-1 to eat breakfast and for second one took take out for later on plane

Yes, Easter is gonna make it difficult. Darned holidays lol....Probably will be able to score some discount for 80-85% of our meals. I'm in Vegas for 10 days, flying in next Sunday. What are your dates?
