I know it has been asked & answered numerous times but I would like a recent answer......
Does Mr. Lucky's still offer their Gambler Special? And do you need to have the Player's Card? If yes, can I still order it without the Player's card? If so what is the cost? I checked their website and no info was given. I know it is not on their menu.

I will be in Las Vegas the weekend of April 28th and I need a late dinner option that serves steak. We are celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday and she has a late flight coming in. We have a group fancier dinner planned the next day.

I am open to any other suggestions on the Strip & Downtown.....prefer a steak special tho for day one. Ha!

    Thanks!

Not sure about Mr.Lucky's special but I'd reccomend Ellis Island Steak special for your late night steak! Much better than Mr.Lucky's in my opinion

Agree the steak special at Ellis Island is good and with a players card discount (ask at players club for details) pretty cheap.

Mr Lucky's @ Hard Rock 'gamblers' special requires you show a players card (card is free and takes just a couple of minutes to get one at the players club). Plus you must ask for the off menu gambler's special and requires a drink purchase! Includes steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes, veggie and salad. Used to cost $7.77 but I heard price increased to $9.99 fairly recently (second hand info)... I think but not sure the menu price for the equvalent is around $25 so would definitely get the free players club card.

Hope your daughter has a great 21st birthday celebration!!

I ate at Mr.Lucky's a week ago. The 3 at table next to me all had the Gambler's Special and sure seemed to enjoy it. I think the Hard Rock and Mr. Lucky's would be a fine place to take a 21 year old daughter.

If you don't have a players card the waiter will get you started. I ate there 2 weeks ago and it was a really easy process.

The atmosphere at Mr Lucky's and the Hard Rock is much better than Ellis Island. It's kinda meh in EI. I think a 21 year old would like Mr Lucky's better. Rock on!

Still had it last May and is still quite tasty. You do need a players card but that takes a couple of minutes to get if you don't have one.

Heading to the Hard Rock for Raiding the Rock Vault on a Wed. evening. Wondered if the gambler's special is still a go at Mr. Lucky's. If so, how was it? Anyone been there recently. Please share your experience.

    Yes, it does.
I didn't read through the thread Geogran linked
    but,
We did eat there recently, in fact twice in a 5 day trip. Coming in from McCarran & prior to our departure.
Good size portions of garlic mashed & bean sprouts, steak & shrimp (4-5 on skewer) meals were delicious!
$7.77 and you need a player card. They require you buy a beverage.
Your probably aware that it is 'off the menu' even though I took a photo of the menu below.

Thank you for the replies. We want to eat there before we head to Raiding the Rock Vault. I'll have to look to see if we have the player's card. Went there early last year, but can't remember if we got a card.

Just stop by the player's club and they will print you a new card or sign you up. It's nice to see that off menu special is still popular! :feedme:

Only if splitting the bill, if I recall. It used to be one card needed per table order but guessing they might be flexible with bill splitting as long as there is one card, although it has been a few years...

Ditto what Geogran said & One card necessary per table for everyone if no splitting, it could be anyone's. Still $7.77 with a beverage now. EI does have a good deal too, but for a 21 yr. B day, HR for more to see, do atmosphere. You do have different potato choices

Gr8! Thx for the update! Glad to hear the B Day girl had a nice time.
I do like the vibe in there & it gives a subtle feeling of a busy diner as others do too.
