I'm looking for recommendations for a steak house strip or downtown that's not to pricey. Looking at $50-$60 per person, plus tip. It's just me and my wife. Also not looking for the type of place they expect you to wear a suit & tie.

    Thanks in advance.

There is a very good deal for BLT Steak on groupon. I'm not sure if this is in your price range but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Golden Steer is a old school joint off strip that fits your range,, the rat pack used to get hammered there

Downtown I like the Redwood Grill in The Cal

Steakhouse at circus circus. Very good steak for the money. Price includes sides, old Vegas atmosphere

Yep, Circus Circus. Or check the weekly steak special at Charlie Palmer at Four Seasons (Mandalay).

Don't go to the Golden Steer. Go somewhere else.

You should be able to find a number of places where you can be close to $50-$60 plus tip downtown as long as you're not downing the wine. For example, go to Tix4Tonight and get a discount for Oscar's.

Circus Circus is a good idea.

If you like Brazilian you could do Fogo de Chao for about $60 plus tip plus alcohol. Less if you go for lunch.

You could do the happy hour at Center Cut in Flamingo as well

I agree with Center Cut for a good mid priced steak house. Nice modern and good drinks. My wife and I have eaten there a few times and will go back some time..............Rick

Andiamo at the D downtown is great but may just be over your per person price point.

Gallagher in NYNY is one of my faves. You can definitely go without a suit but the $50-$60 would be close. Although it is less expensive than most other steak spots on the strip.

I might try that one. I don't mind going over. I just don't want to spend $300 or more for a meal.

The only real strip steak house experience i have is Stripsteak @ Mandalay Bay.

Might be a bit over budget , but totally worth it

You definitely won't come close to $300. Their NY Strip was probably the best steak I've ever had. Supposedly, they were the first to serve the cut at their NYC location years ago.

+1 for Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil. Same concept both are Brazilian Steakhouse AYCE. (all you can eat)

If you have an appetite and love meat, you won't go wrong with this place. A little over $50-60 per person when you factor in drinks.
Quality of meat is top notch. Filet Mignon, Lamb Chops, Leg of Lamb, Top Sirloin, poultry, everything you can think of... except maybe WAGYU

For the wife and I we spent close to $200 bucks and thats 2 drinks each + the ayce obviously.
I've never been disappointed with either place.

The best value may be at Craft Steak at MGM. It's not the best steak in Las Vegas but the best for your budget.

We've gotten out of Ruth's Chris for around that per person, depending on what you order. They are a chain, but consistently tasty, IMO.
