I play table games exclusively. BJ $25 and up, $10 craps and some roulette. I haven't back to Vegas since last summer but back then at Aria/Bellagio had no issue finding a 3/2 table at $25 and up. I am staying at Aria next week, where I normally stay, and surprised to read a recent trip report where they said all of the BJ was 6/5 until you get to at least $50 if not $100. Any insight on that?

You will get 3/2 at only $50 or higher at Aria now. Even in the off hours, the lowest is $50, but it is a great 6 deck game, with S17 and late surrender. The double deck is now $100 and up.

Just be careful, they will run the 6/5 games up to $50 and higher and they are right next to the good rules game. As others have said, a table full of people will be sitting at the $50 6/5 6 deck game that is literally right next to the $50 3/2, S17, LS game, with only one person playing. The casinos definitely are aware of this and that is why it is spreading like the Black Plague.

Thanks Midnight. I just can't believe how dumb people are. And since I am going next week during March Madness, which brings out a higher than normal share of clueless people, I am sure it will be bad.

At $25 your best bet may be Ballys/Paris from your location. In general, CET has better 21 game conditions in the $15-$25/hand space than Mlife does right now. I dunno if P Ho is comparable or not, I didn't look in there.

Mirage had a $25 double deck game when I was there last week but it was Wednesday at noon. It was right on the floor at the entrance to the high limit room. I doubt that game is $25 on a Sat. night.

Aria had $10 craps when I was there but it may be $15 on the weekends. Of course you can wander to Monte Carlo or NYNY and one of them will probably be dealing $10 craps even on the the weekend. Don't forget you can always play bubble craps for less. The rules on bubble craps vary a bit by casino - don't be afraid to look for one with a better max odds limit.

Others will be better equipped to comment on roulette than me. I saw a $25 single zero table somewhere (maybe Mirage as well?) but I can't 100% guarantee that.

Planet Hollywood should always have 3/2 games at the $25 level - including a pit just outside the HL room with Pleasure Pit dealers.

I used to really like playing at Aria and Bellagio - but no way I will play there anymore if they won't even deal a real 3/2 game at the $25 level.

Bally's probably has the best game for the price. In what they call "High Limit", 6-deck shoe, 3/2, DAS, S17, surrender and you can re-split aces. Usually $25, but sometimes can go as high as $50 if they get busy on the weekends.

A cab or uber ride out and back to the Orleans would pay for itself for a green plus player. I hate the big strip casinos, especially because they're making 6/5 BJ seem normal.

The craps tables at Aria can be funny some times in terms of limits. They will probably have $10 even this weekend in the evenings. They may not have them during the days though, when they have fewer tables open it seems they sometimes start things at $15. Over SB weekend the only night that didn't have $10 was Saturday night. Good luck and have fun.

If you figure on 3 blackjacks an hour, along with the Uber ride costing you $6-to-$8 each way(including tip), even a $10 player comes out ahead with 2 hours of play (6 blackjacks x 3:2 = $90... vs 6 x 6:5 game = $72. Net gain in 2 hours = $18).

Pho will be 50$ in that pit outside HL this week for MM. Has been that way the last 3 years. Great pit though.

Sorry to derail the thread, but this is so true. Aria is probably my all around favorite craps pit on the strip, but there seems to be no method to their minimums. I remember it being completely dead they had one $25 table open. I had been playing heavily the night before and had been tipping pretty generously throughout the session. The same crew was on their shift and I asked if they'd let me play at $10. The pit actually said it was cool. The funny thing is, a group of hungover frat boys (generalizing here) came by with handfuls of reds and started to put $10 on the pass line. The dealers pointed to the sign and told them it was $25 and they proceeded to get pissy and pointed out I was playing at $10. They told them I had been grandfathered in before it changed.

On a similar note, it's always amusing to be playing at MGM around 3am - 4am when Hakkasan is letting out and watching the pit bump the mins on the $10 tables up to $25 and even $50 to stop the *********. From my experiences, they're always cool about letting the rest of the table play at the previous min though.

Is there any online resource for this type of question, besides the annual Wizard of Odds blackjack survey? So many of us are passionate about 3/2 blackjack, that it'd be great to know all the nearby places that offer it. I'm staying at the Mirage coming up, but intend to play blackjack next door at Treasure Island, comps be damned, just so I can enjoy a $10 3/2 game. I'd also be curious about 3/2 options for alternative games like Free Bet or Blackjack Switch.

Blackjacks on Blackjack Switch always pay 1:1. That's just how that game is.

Freebet BJ is mostly 6:5 on the strip these days.

You are smart to play at TI - that is the best place for $10 3:2 BJ on the strip. I don't think they have a Freebet or Switch game there though.

On this forum, it doesn't hurt to ask. You may get better results if you start a different thread that has the name of the game you want in your title - something like
"Where can I find freebet blackjack on the strip that pays blackjacks at 3:2"?

Great idea - I'll do that a little closer to my trip, to try to get the most accurate information.

They have ruined Freebet on the strip. It's 6:5 everywhere. You can find 3:2 Freebet at Golden Gate and The D downtown. They used to be double deck games but changed to either 6 or 8 deck shoe games, which is actually better for Freebet.

I forgot about The Plaza's table. I never played it there because it's always closed when I've been there. I didn't know that the golden nugget added it back. They were the first casino to ever have it in Vegas but they got rid of both tables because it wasn't popular.

Plaza and Main street were good in November, also got lucky on 8 deck at the D until I sobered up and realized it was 8 deck
