Will be there for Rd 2 of MM.......March 20- 28th. Going solo for the first 2 nights ( 03/20-21) and staying at Silver7 on Paradise. Free room comps are always nice! Will not have a rental vehicle for those days so I need suggestions on anything within walking distance of Silver7. I'm talking about happy hours, eateries, casinos. I stayed at Silver7 in 2014 but can't remember the attractions nearby because I had a rental car than. Off casino restaurants, dive casinos with great drink services, loose slots and fun local bars suggestions interest me.
    Thanks in advance.

The Tuscany Casino, Ellis Island, and the strip are all within walking distance. Tuscany is a 10 minute walk, Ellis Island is about the same, and Bally's on the strip is about 15 min. walk. Don't want to walk, take the bus to the strip. Uber and Lyft are also great options and much more reasonable than a taxi.

Ellis Island has great food and drink prices and Tuscany has Marilyn's cafe, which also has great food at great prices and a nice casino.

    Have fun.

PF Chiang's is across the street if you like Chinese food. The $2.99(with Player's card) breakfast at Silver Sevens isn't too bad.

Many years ago I stayed across the street from Silver 7/Terribles/Continental at Key Largo/La Mirage and walked to the strip every day. It's an easy walk especially in March when the weather is beautiful. Ellis Island is nice, good beer, wasn't crazy about their food. Cheap gambling.

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
Incidentally......I, for one, exercise daily and walking is just a small part of it. IP670 should try it sometimes. LOL

Since I know a little about Chinese food ( born & raised in Honolulu......first wife is Chinese ) yes........PF Chang is Caucasian Chinese food, much like Panda. If I crave for Chinese food in Vegas, I drive to Spring Mt and eat in Vegas's conception of Chinatown. Honestly.......most wouldn't eat real Chinese food. Your taste buds and eye balls couldn't handle the truth.

It is a short walk to Centerfold's, formerly Club Paradise!

There are some great dining options at the Hard Rock. I particularly like eating at the bar at the Pink Taco, and Culinary Dropout is excellent. Westie has posted some great reviews of the steakhouse at the Hard Rock, 35 Steaks + Martinis, over the past few months
