This saturday my wife and I will be flying to Vegas for the 8th time in 4 years. We're from the Netherlands, so it takes about 22 hours to get from our home to our Vegas hotel, but it is SO worth it!!

We bought the plane tickets in early september, when we just came back from our august trip. It was a long wait!! But now, Vegas is soooo close!

We will be starting our vacation with two comped nights at Suncoast (plus 35 FP).
The plan was to go to Zion to hike the Angels Landing and stay the night there, but there's too much ice unfortunately. So now we'll be visiting Valley of Fire and sleeping at the Orleans on a comp (25 RC).
The day after Valley of Fire will probably be another hiking day, but at Red Rock canyon (going there for the third time).

From the 7th through the 12th we will be staying at Sam's (comped, 50 dining credit). We love Sam's, it is really our 'feel at home' casino. Nothing fancy, just how we like it.
The night of 8-9 feb will be spent at Southpoint, to celebrate my birthday. We love that casino, as there is always a seat open at the tables, cocktail service is quick and enough decent food choices.

The 12th of feb will be our last day in Vegas with a flight back home at 9 pm.

I'm not sure why I'm posting this? Will it be the start of a TR? I don't know.. I tried that twice and I failed both times ;)

Anyway: I'm so excited!!!!! The daily envelopes are ready, snacks for on the plane are bought... All that is left is one day of babysitting my nephew and one day of last preparations and we're off to the airport (leaving for the airport one day early, sleeping in a hotel at Schiphol) Yay!!

    3 more sleeps!!

    Haha, good question!!
The two flights are 1 hr 20 and 10 hr 40... The rest is getting to the airport, waiting time at both Amsterdam and London, etc ;)

I will try to do that! Last two times alcohol and gambling got in the way though...

Good luck and safe travels! I'm insanely jealous as I won't be back until the end of April to LV. I'm terrible at trip reports too. I start off strong and once the "Wildling" in me takes over when I get in a casino, it's all over with. Lol [emoji23]

    Wow!
Must make for a long :faint: travel day when it takes almost a full day!
Hopefully the 22 hours go by quickly for you on the way in!
Have a super birthday celebration!

Yes, it's will be a long long day next saturday. Plus there's 9 hours time difference, so the first two or three nights in Vegas are a little weird too (being wide awake at 3 or 4am...).

But it's all worth it, because  Vegas!

But I'm quite positive I can do pics. I think. I hope.
    I'll try :')

This is more a test than a real update... But: daily envelopes all ready to go! And final shopping list is getting shorter and shorter. Yay!
