Does any casinos other than CET properties rate for Sports betting? Also does anyone know what their ratings are for sports betting?
I know Wynn will rate you for sports. MGM will not (unless you're betting really big, like $10k a game). The rating is miniscule, not even worth worrying about. You simply aren't going to earn comps solely from sports betting unless you are betting tens of thousands every week
Yeah good luck with a rating from sports bets. Most you'll get is a drink ticket if you're making $100 worth of bets or if you slip the ticket writer a $10 or $20 he may give you a stack if drink tickets.
still in porn recover so im not fully reading thru everything ,just trying answer or help mlife wont ,i saw that posted , i belive palms wont no clue now that theres new owners at the trop if the due
Isn't the Trop still a cantor gaming book? Maybe someone can confirm. It has been a while since I passed through there. If it is CG, you won't get rated for the casino
In regards to drink tickets, the Flamingo Sports Book has always been generous to me... Suppose it depends who you get though.
CET gave me 3 drink tickets for $100 bet earlier this month.. I dont think they give much or Any for TR or RCs because I used the sports book in the Paris on my way out (going home) and i checked my TRs via website and it didnt move. I checked a few days later and it didnt move either.
Sante Fe station typically gives a drink ticket for every $20 bet. It is just domestic beer and well drink ticket to be used in 24 hours I doubt the bartender ever looks at the date though, if you want to accumulate some.
Thanks.... yeah last time I was in Vegas (Sept) I spent a good 75-100 on football & got 2 drink tickets & didn't give my TR card and they were adamant about me giving them my card to scan it. I'm just confused if they really don't rate it y they even take it.
No, they rate it. But as I explained above, sports bets are not enough to move the needle unless you're betting more than a hundred bucks. But some people sit there throughout the day and make hundred dollar bets all day long. They earn a tiny amount of RC by the end of the day
Yeah that's crazy... I'm surprised with as popular sports betting is they they rate so low. Ehhh oh well. I'll be at the Westgate on fri 3rd putting all my Super Bowl prop bets in & doing the rest at CET properties
I think its because they make so little money with the book relative to the real estate and staffing it takes up. Casinos treat it more like an amenity to get you through the doors rather than a profit center. Good luck with your SB bets!
When sports betting you will get roughly 50 cents comped per $100 straight bet at CET, Milfe rates Sports bets of $1000 if you speak to manager. Don't waste their time if your not going to run atleast $10,000 a day through their book. I guess the real question is what comp are you looking for?
Not looking for anything specific... but the CET info is always helpful. I wish CET was more forthcoming about how to gain the maximum amount of Comps / EXACTLY how they rate (Plat,Diamond,7stars status ) like besides tables..... I've seen frequent gamblers "know" pit bosses & im sure they get higher ratings than the normal person.
What benefit would they have in doing that? At the tables the most important thing to do is ask the pit when you finish your session how you were rated. If you ask, you can tell them you think you were shorted right then. If you wait until the end of your trip you have no real recourse. I feel that most of the bosses at the Aria dice tables do a fairly decent job in rating me. I don't usually ask anymore because when I get my end of trip stats I feel they are pretty accurate. I should probably be more diligent than I am, but I am pretty happy with how Aria treats me as a lower player on their spectrum. I've never given my card at the sports book, I'm usually just looking to get paid off on a lottery ticket there anyway.
There is an older book called Comp City by Max Rubin that is a fun read, will give you some basic info on Players clubs. Its dated but the sections on Comp ratings and dealing with Pit bosses hold up pretty well. The only thing I can tell you about sports books is for some reason they LOVE horse betters, I have bet $50 on basketball and gotten nothing while betting $5 on a horse gets you a drink. No idea why.
