Mac King questions...

VIP GA tix...are these "seated w/ tables" and first come first served for that area?

He seems to have great reviews for the most part.

All seats are general admission, but if you book VIP, you'll get the floor seats up front. That's a popular option, but I prefer to tip the maître d as he shows us seats we don't want, make sure he sees $5 (if two of us or $10 if four of us) in my hand as I ask if there is a booth available. It has worked for me every single time. I'm sure you could use the same tactic if you prefer the floor seats up front. If you want to be part of the show, being up front is pretty much a necessity.

I love Mac King and we see him on every trip. I go to Total Rewards desk for a coupon which brings it to a total now of $15pp including a drink. Mac is very personable, funny, talented and a bit hokey. It's definitely a family friendly show.

I had some kind of VIP tickets for Mac King last March. I had a fast pass upon entering the theatre and (as mentioned by GottaLuvCruising) a seat in the first row. I didn't see any options in terms of tables (but I didn't want a table anyway).
Anyway, it's a great show wherever you sit.

 

When I saw his show last year, it was like 15 people total in the theater.
You can sit wherever you like.
It's an afternoon show, never crowded. I would not spend any real money for a VIP ticket.
The show itself is very good. One of the very few shows that's worth more than the price you have to pay.

I go nearly every trip and its nearly always crowded. So definitely NO to the "you can sit anywhere you want" comment

Fairly easy to get the 2 tickets for $30 promo. Usually handing these out in Carnival Court or request one at Total Rewards

 

It could be true if you go on weekends or when kids are out of school.
I always go in weekdays and kids in school.
My motto is: if you see a school age kid (6-18 years old) in Vegas during the day, it's the wrong time.

 

So what's the best way and when to get tickets. Plan on seeing him early June. Don't need VIP but would like to be close enough to see what he is doing.

 

Go to the Total Rewards booth at Harrah's and ask for the Mac King ticket special. $14.98 for a ticket that includes a drink. You don't have to be a TR member to get the ticket deal. When we did it last year they gave us a voucher which you then take to the box office which was located right outside the theater.
