Some of you are contacting me to say that when you navigate around the board, you are being logged out, or when you return the board, you need to log in again.

If you are using a bookmark to get to VMB, you need to edit it to include the https part of the url:

    https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/

There was an issue with people being logged out when clicking the Home link on the top of the board, but my lovely assistant, SH0CK has fixed that for us.

There is the possibility that you may need to flush your browser cache to correct this problem, but most people have been able to just correct the url in their bookmark to solve the problem. Please let me know if you continue to have problems.

I do not use a bookmark, but just type Veg and it automatically fills in the url at the page I always start at (New Posts)

I did not want to clear my cache - assuming it might delete lots of regular web urls, but found a different solution to clean the old URL. It has a different method for MAC vs PC.

Tell us more about how you normally use the site, login, browser, etc.

And, did you try to various fixes mentioned above?

Change your first page to forums - that might help.

Be sure your bookmarks are starting at https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/
Include the https and the trailing slash. Should be working.

The server guru people say all is set up correctly but I will tell them again that people are still getting logged out. Hopefully someone there will have more info for me.

That getting logged out is a PITA. Thanks for your patience.

I have had the gurus go over the settings again and all is working on the server end and in the software here.

Their advice if you are still getting logged out:
If you continue to have problems, please provide the following:
    • Operating System/Device (desktop, ipad, phone, etc)/Browser
    • What link are you clicking when you get logged out? And is this consistent (happens every time)?
    • Have you done all the things listed above?
    Thanks!

To really help the troubleshooters - COPY and PASTE the problem link - do not type it in. 99% sure it will not be the same one.

(hope I did not overstep my boundries here... but from past troubleshooting, field support - this was often the problem)
