I am hoping to find places that would run $100-150 for two with drinks/tip. How likely is this? I have an appreciation for "deals" but not looking for Outback or EI this time around. Looking forward to your suggestions!

DelFrisco's is one of my favorite off the strip. Closer to the $150 price range.

Charlie Palmer Steak, cut of the week
    Circus Circus steakhouse.
I think Vic and Anthony's have a prix fixe downtown as well.

+1 for Charlie Palmer Steak, cut of the week. Starter salad, steak plus two sides with desert and unlimited wine for $58 a person. $150 with tip and your golden!

That is a tough price point with tax tip and two drinks, but I would check out The Steakhouse at Circus Circus. Meals include a salad, vegetable and potato. Unfortunately, those tight assed bastards at MGM decided to remove prices from the online menu. They used to have half priced drinks during happy hour in the bar area.

Not "deals" really, but both Golden Steer and Bob Taylor's Ranch House should have steaks within that price range. Both are old-school and quite decent.

One of our favorite moderate price Steak House is Center Cut at Flamingo, very good steak and big sides. Not an Old Homestead or a Strip House but for the price nice meat..................Rick
Oh yes, I have also read on here of people getting groupon discounts st BLT at Bally's

Good place. But now everything is ala carte. The B*astards also took away the 18 oz porterhouse deal for $24

My experience at Center Cut was terrible. Steak wasn't very high quality and was overcooked. Too many excellent places on the strip to have that happen.

How is Brand at Monte Carlo? I don't see prices on the website and don't know anyone who's eaten there.

In October, a group of us went off strip to Downtown Summerlin. We went to Andiron and it was well worth it. Kind of refreshing to go off strip. The staff at Andiron was very accommodating to our group of 10. We'll be back.

Off strip , I would recommend Austin's Steakhouse at the Texas Roadhouse. Great food and service at very reasonable prices . there is even a $25.00 off coupon in the LVA book . Bob

Anyone have any suggestions on the best <<$20 steak (non prime rib) special? You guys know me... always looking for the perfect balance between bargain and quality....

As an aside, in another thread, I found the perfect balance between price and quality in the $9.99 Prime Rib Special at the Market Street Cafe at the California Casino.... I'm kinda looking for the same idea but for other cuts of steak...

No one ever mentions this place, but we love it and it has awesome outside dining on a huge deck. Anthony's at The M Resort and casino is really good food. You can get a really nice dinner for reasonable costs! [IMG][IMG] Sorry I must have deleted the steak prices menu section, but the food and drinks are great here and cheaper than strip steakhouses.

They have a "sharing" menu too, where you get a steak and another protein of your choice (we had halibut) and my husband and I split each protein in half so we could try both. It was very very good.
