Can anyone tell me about location within Mirage when it comes to The Still sports bar and the sports book? Are they close together? Going for Super Bowl weekend, not going to pay sports book seating prices but would like to still be nearby for convenience.

Got it, thank you! Looks like maybe the LVB Burgers would be the "sports bar" listed right next to the sports book on that map. Maybe a better place to start.

I inquired about the Still bar on Super bowl sunday and was told they are having a party there with packages starting at like $150.

The "sports bar" listed next to the book isn't a restaurant. It is in fact a bar. If memory serves correctly it has about 20 seats.

The Still is where Revolution used to be; across from Samba and The Pantry. Basically the other side of the casino from the sports book.

Like Shock said, The Still is over caddy corner to The Pantry and really close to the elevators. The Rhumbar entrance is the closest one for the sports book. What is far to one person isn't necessarily far to the next, but IMO it is not far from the sports book- maybe a 90 second walk if my memory serves. The closest actual restaurant to the book is probably the burger place. There is also a small sports bar on the periphery of the book, but it isn't enclosed or anything and will probably be pretty busy on SB weekend.

You don't have to pay to sit in the sports book, but you do need to be in your seat by about 8am in the morning. If you think your going to be able to walk up and grab a seat in front of a TV just be for the game starts you are in for a surprise. If you're not going to pay for a party or seat you need to get up early and find a place.

Yes. You will need a better plan than the bar sorta near the sports book.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong because I have never been in the Burger Place but when you enter the Mirage from the street the Burger Place, Rhumbar and Starbucks are essentially in a hallway like in a shopping mall closed off from the rest of the Casino and Sportsbook. You aren't actually into the "action" until you come out of that hallway and turn left towards the Sportsbook and Bar which are all wide open to the Casino.

You would still have to come out of the Burger Place and turn the corner to enjoy the game from the Sportsbook area.

I'm not positive but I think the burger place is on the edge of the action as it is at the end of the hallway. Whether it would be a good place to watch the game- I have no idea. I think you are correct in that you cannot actually see into the sports book to watch the game on their TVs. But it fits the bill of being close to the book for convenience, like the OP was looking for. If OP is trying to make some in-game bets then being near a book makes sense. If not, I think there are probably some better options than The Still or the burger place. (whether at the Mirage or elsewhere)

California Pizza Kitchen is the restaurant that is across from the sports book at Mirage. You MAY be able to see the screens in the sports book from some tables.

Let's just simplify this. If you plan to sit near a sports book be there very early. If you plan to sit in front of a TV in a casino bar be there very early.

I suggest that if you are a poker player that you get into a low limit game a couple hours before the game and get situated in front of a TV.

This will be one of the busiest days you will experience in and around sports books. If you plan to bet, do it the day before. Or sign up for the MGM mobile betting.

This I eat here all the time when I go and it has a perfect view of all the screens at the sports book actually better because you are elevated about 5 feet or so off the floor. I eat dinner and watch games all the time. Just make sure you sit on the right side though

I just spoke to the concierge at Mirage and was informed that every seat in sportbook will be $259 the day of Super Bowl.

Now they're saying $300 dollars for a seat at the Still. And if you reserve a high top, that seats 4, so you will be charged $1200 regardless if you have party of 4 or less.

Maybe, but they won't sell them all. I've gone every year for the past 6 years and you can get seats.

That's good to know as I had a hard time believing all those seats would go for that price, which obviously they say that over the phone just to push for the sale.
