I got that BJ mailer too. I called to book it the day after I got it and was told it was already sold out. I messaged DTG in social media about their offer timing and received no response.

I got an offer of two nights Sun-Thursday plus $10 a day free play and $10 resort credit. Called looking for Sunday March 5th and Monday March 6th... was told Sunday Free, Monday $39.99. Why offer me two nights and then try to make me pay for the second night? The person said maybe there was a convention in town but come on how is the $40 charge going to do anything for the Grand's bottom line vs. pissing off a customer you made an offer to?

Interesting, thanks for the thread. I need to book one night somewhere in April and was thinking either try out DTG or stat at MSS (my usual). DTG is very cheap that night but MSS is still a little less once you factor in the resort fee dealio.

I guess I'm still leaning towards DTG because of the pool and it's someplace I haven't stayed before. And I don't have any kind of offer I need to worry about them screwing up.

That's kind of funny, because I never got my first quarter mailer. I contacted DTG about the Super Bowl weekend, and not only was I not comped, I have no offers for February.

I think their pool is the best one DT when you factor in the crowds. Golden Nugget is probably the better pool, but it always seemed like an ant farm when I went to check it out. DTG pool is more laid back IMO.

I just checked their website, you can still get rooms for those dates, just another BS offer they dont really want to give out. Rooms also available on expedia, etc.

I've fallen off their radar so I gave them a half day of play on our Thanksgiving trip and now for our Christmas trip, I gave them 3 hrs on two different days. It will interesting to see if that puts me back on the offer list. I don't use them for me, but I book for my brother and SIL who love the pool.

Does DTG allow this $25 free ace to be played directly at the table or require some sort of activation at the slot club booth first? I ask because I have 3 ACG's and will be staying at DTG in Jan, Feb, & March. The back side of the coupon says "one coupon per day," which leads me to believe the $25 free ace coupon can be taken directly to the blackjack table.

Probably still have to go to the players club and they print a voucher to use.

I'm surprised it doesn't say directly on the coupon. I got a coupon book from LVA and all of the coupons had very specific instructions on the back on how to play them.

Breaking news according to the LVA website, the commissary has closed. Bummer. I was hoping to use my dining credits there.

I heard that the esports lounge has moved over to where the commissary was so it can be converted to an 18 & older crowd.

That is correct. Was there last week and the esports area just off casino floor is now partitioned off and a sign saying it's moved.

I try so hard to like the place and gamble there, but it is run like a rudderless ship.

As long as I keep getting free rooms with no resort fee, I will keep going.

That's quite a compliment, considering how things are there.

They still have 9/6 DDB on the bartops at the dollar level.
