I'm looking to get a room with a balcony in April 2017. Preferably on or near the Strip. I'm aware that the Cosmo has them but when I called the price was a little more then I want to pay. It about $1500 with resort fees for 7 nights. I'm hoping to pay about $1000 all in. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Try MGM Signature. Many of their rooms have balconies and are usually significantly cheaper than Cosmo.

The linq aka IP has balconies. Very cheap compared to the others. But the Cosmo is so worth the price!

Those balconies are now locked off and have been removed, even on the penthouse level.

i want to say on the strip, Cosmo is the only one with balcony...
    its worth it... trust me...

another option is to split up ur stay at 2 hotels. do the first first nights at a cheaper resort and then splurge at the Cosmo the last few nights. but always do the cheaper nights first.. it sucks the other way around...

Palms place has balconies that are sealed off, from what I have read here.

Nothing quite like the Cosmo...and that's not a terrible price.

Signature has some terrific rooms, but the strip views aren't nearly as panoramic and are blocked by the Hilton Grand Vacation hotel.

I'd compare what the two prices and take into account the much better view at the Cosmo. Maybe spend a bit of time and look at a couple of youtube videos to compare the views.

Going for 7 nights - I would split it up as well. There is NOTHING like those Cosmo balconies.

Yeah, I think Cosmo or Signature are really the only Strip options. You could also look at a terrace marquee suite at MGM (huge balcony!) but I am assuming its a lot more than the standard Cosmo room

Is your quote WITH the strip view or you are hoping for a strip view? With crappy resort fees you are still just north of 200$ a night which seems more than fair if high level room w/balcony and with strip view.

Personally, I like both Cosmo and Signature, and both have balconies. We just stayed at Signature and loved it. I think you get more bang for your buck at Signature. The kitchen is bigger and nicer, they have two separate rooms with a door in between which they don't at Cosmo, the Jacuzzi tub is much nicer at Signature, you have access to washers and driers at Signature (no charge), and it's also nice to have 2 separate bathrooms. We have stayed at both properties many times, and I would take Signature.

I don't think the fairness of the price matters. The OP is simply looking for something more in line with his budget

Harrah's mardi gras tower has rooms with a small step out type balcony.
Not enough room to sit out or anything. But it is nice for bit of fresh air, especially if you get a decent view.

Yes exactly. I can get a room at Ballys for the same 7 nights for about $550 all in. So $1000 would probably be the most I'm willing to spend. And extra $450 for a balcony is ok but anything more not so much. I'll look into the signature. Strip view is important but as long as it's a partial view I'm ok with that.

It does look similar. I'm not sure what room, but it was from Cosmo. Can't beat the view.

Harrah's has "balconies" on their lowest tier rooms. It's more of just a big sliding window though.
