We've stayed in a number of varieties of the corner suites at Aria but have always been curious about the Sky Suites. For an upcoming trip the price difference for me between a Corner Panoramic Suite and a One Bedroom Sky Suite is only about $30 a night, so basically nothing. My question is the Sky Suite so much better or should I just stick with the Corner Panoramic?

Oh for $30 no brainer...definitely skysuitte, especially their lounge is worth the extra $30!!!! They offers snacks all day long and offers Fiji waters as complimentary! In the morning they have coffees and pastries etc afternoon fruits and snacks. And pretty much night time same thing as well. And vareity of soft drinks and juices. Rooms are much spacier and better appointed as well. We have stay there over the summer 2 bedroom penthouse and it was awesome!!!

Book it fast because that price difference will not last.
Typically the price difference is $200 plus.

The lounge for coffee, water, snacks etc is right there when you step off the elevator.
The Tower Suites has a lounge but it is across the casino.
    Lots to like about SkySuites

I have never been a fan of the corner suite, so I say yes, go for it. The skysuite is much nicer, better layout, and access to the lounge and separate elevator

Thanks for your replies, I booked it, just a one bedroom, not a one bedroom penthouse though.

We love the corner suites but it's a roll of the dice which kind you get. The last time in September was probably the best one, it was a true corner on the 51st floor where the bathroom faced Cosmo, the bedroom was on the strip side and the living room was on the mountain side. We've never had the same floorplan corner suite more than once and we've stayed in them 5 times.

Oh forgot to mention.... I'm assuming your trip is before the summer of 2017? Just FYI, skysuite has their own pool which is another plus it's never that crowed plenty of lounge chairs pick and choose from. They have towels that "cooled" it's awesome bring you complimentary smoothies and fruits every 30 mins to hour. So worth it!!! Can't wait till go back!!!

Some Corner Suites are okay. Every Panoramic Corner Suite I have had, has the annoying column in the living room and bathroom. If you get an even number corner suite, I think you are okay. Odd numbers may have the columns. I much prefer the one bedroom Aria Suite, over the Corner Suites. FYI, when you stay in SkySuites, you will have access to both lounges, SkySuites and Tower Suites. Depending on where you are in the casino, one lounge may be closer than the other.

Some of the smaller skysuites have the column in the bedroom also, but it is far less obtrusive than it is in the corner suites. Actually, they hang the bedroom TVs from them, so it kind of serves a function

We loved the Sky Suite we had in the summer, for many of the reasons indicated. Our trip this last week was back to a regular Aria room, which of course was still nice (and reasonably priced)... but I'm sure we'll go back to a Sky Suite before too long.

I had booked the one-bedroom Sky Suite that you have. A month or so before our trip I got an offer to upgrade for $30 a night to the penthouse Sky Suite. If you get that offer, I recommend it--it really feels palatial. We called it our "apartment in Vegas." We had a room ending in -036, which was pretty phenomenal, a true corner penthouse suite. I think I read somewhere that all the penthouse Sky Suites ending in -036 were that way.

We did get the offer yesterday to upgrade the upgrade to a penthouse for $30, couldn't resist that. We're going in two weeks so unfortunately we won't be able to use the private pool. The first corner suite we stayed in had that tv on the column mount, it was odd but it did make sense. I wish there was a list somewhere of the different corner suite configurations it would be interesting to see how many of them we've hit.

They keep the pool open still, so even though it might be chilly, you can probably just go down and read and chill for a bit before going out and about.

The Sky Pool is open year round is heated...when we stayed last December in the Sky Suites we used the pool. It was great because we were the only people at the pool since it was quite cold outside, but the water was pretty warm.

FWIW, the Sky Suites are great. We usually stay in a 2 Bedroom Aria Suite and have never had any complaints. From limo pick up to the lounge to how quiet it is from the rest of the casino is really nice. Won't be staying there this upcoming trip in a couple weeks (took advantage of some free nights in a "regular" room at the Aria) but will definitely return. I'm sure you will have a great time!

Wow what a deal. We are lucky enough to always get these comped. Love both through aria suite and the penthouse. Glad you went for it.

Isn't free limo pickup and drop off included for Sky Suites? If it is than that is about $130 dollar value

I suppose that depends on a number of factors.

Last August I got a strip-view one-bedroom Sky Suite for $300 a night (plus resort fees). I then took an offer for an extra $30 a night to upgrade to a strip-view penthouse Sky Suite, which was the best room I've ever had, anywhere. So: $330 a night for pretty opulent luxury.

On the other hand, plugging in the dates for my July trip, right now I'm looking at $367 a night for a non-Strip view one-bedroom Sky Suite. Strip view raises it to $430 a night. Penthouse is $494 a night.

$330 for that penthouse suite was a steal, at least for this quarter VP player (yes, the famous row 802)...

That's actually not bad at all. I was thinking $5000 a night. I thought you guys were super high rollers.
