I stayed a Cesar's as my local (2 hours away) is a CET property and I had free rooms.

I played at the following CET properties: Cesar's, Bally's, The Linq, and The Cromwell. I spent 75% of my bankroll there.

I'd heard so much about the Cosmo, I had to go. I played there 2 days, maybe 3 hours total.

I went to Aria and played a pretty significant amount of the day. I made Pearl status.

I also went to the Venetian and played.

As a result... Cosmo sent me an offer for 4 days and $125.00 of Identity play...
Venetian/Palazzo... sent me an offer for 4 days, $175.00 in free play, and 2 show tickets..
CET sent me an offer for 3 days... $50.00 in food credits and $40.00 in free play.

I was expecting much more from CET. I'm coming back for NYE and I was so loyal to them, but I don't even plan on playing at a CET property.
I never received an offer from MLife. Does it take them longer to generate offers? I'd like to give them some play, but not if I don't get an offer.

    Anyone experience anything similar?

Your offers from CET usually take a few months to get in the system. I am surprised you got that kind of teaser offer from V/P, nice place to stay. Though the big offers from CET are now not as good as a few years ago but you should see something a lot better the first of the year or so..........Rick

You didn't say how much you played or what type of play you did.

If you never played at Cosmo or Venetian before, those could be teaser offers (although they're very good ones).

CET, you have a play history at your local, so they already have some sort of impression of your play, although it also can take a few weeks for your latest play to work its way into offers. See if you notice any difference in availability of comp rooms in Vegas using the regular availability calendars.

MLife operates on a longer offer cycle, it can take longer before you see anything from them, a month or even longer.

I'm a slot player.... mostly fortunes 88 and buffalo gold. I At CET I averaged at least $5,000 coin in per day. One day I was winning and did $13,500 coin in.
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep you updated on other offers.

That's plenty healthy play, especially on those machines. I'd be surprised if your CET offers didn't eventually get bumped up to at least $100 freeplay/$50 resort credit. I end up averaging between $3,500 - $4,000 a night, and that's what I get, with the occasional offer for certain months or dates with $225 freeplay instead of the FP/RC combo.

CET does tend to skew more to the room side of offers than the freeplay/resort credit side. More comped nights, less FP/RC than MLife.

The 5 nights I can get free at CET is the trigger for me. The guarantee of those free nights keeps me in the CET rooms & I don't worry about seeking a comp elsewhere - since I am Diamond there are no resort fees. I normally earn 500 points per day but can go up to 1000. I normally only see $40-75 in FP, but do receive other offers that include decent show tickets etc. with a much more significant value.

Awesome... I'm hoping I get something soon.

I do agree that the free rooms offered by CET save a lot of money.

As a note - the trip I just returned from, host pulled the 6th night for me at $15. This was definitely a benefit (6 nights total in a Go room for $15 plus tax). I'll give up a lot of other stuff for that guaranteed cheap rate & not having to move. (I was going to try for a MV room for just the resort fee - but heck that would have been more than staying the 6th night at Flamingo!). This was also for a Strip view room, however it was facing directly to Caesars (late arrival on a Friday night) so I requested a change to a HR view the next morning & was able to move immediately.

Just factor in what the overall benefit for the trip is from each property. Freeplay can provide you a decent return or virtually nothing. I have won as little as $8 at local casino on $100 FP lol. That was pretty boring!

Way on the low side of your play, but Cosmo has had me on their free room list for four years after one visit, and a few follow-ups. My local boat is CET, I get free weekday night offers all the time. The funniest offer lately was any property in Vegas free from January 3-7: I may have identified the last slow week in Vegas.

That covers CES, which I think may be the busiest time in Vegas all year.
