Totally agree with the elevator chargers. The worst I experience was MGM. Their waits are already ridiculous. You get down to the lobby and the herd enters.

I feel sorry for the young girls who walk 3&4 together when I am walking with my husband. They get the shoulder check every time. He does not deliberately run into them. But he won't move when they are already occupying most of the thorough fare.

I won't take a bus in Vegas anymore. I can't stand to see a young healthy man sit when an elderly person is having to stand and sway. Show some manners and get off your lazy ass. If I saw my son do that I would smack him in the back of the head and remind him he was not brought up that way -- and he is 35 years old. And yes I would do it in a heart beat.

I also get annoyed with the herd of grannies that travel together on the electric scooters zooming through the casinos. I do not begrudge anyone who can't get around those devices. Some of these women are down right homicidal on those things.

A few trips ago I was almost done in by a group I dubbed "Harrah's Angels." A group of 5 that I kept meeting throughout the day as we made our way up the Strip.
One ran over my toes as they rumbled by on a tight squeeze in front of Flamingo.
Hot on my heels in line at Tix-4-Tonight.
I was even trapped between a few of them at the Walgreen's nearest V/P.

    It was a rough group.
Spread-eagle beanie babies and teddy bears zip-tied to the handlebars and front baskets of their rides...
The haze of trouble rising from their bedazzled denim vests and neon visors...
I even saw one of them buying drugs from a drug dealer!
    Oh, I guess it was a pharmacist....:faint:

The Mojave desert and Las Vegas not being located in New Jersey.

    Vomit in the elevator.

People hitting noisily the buttons and the glass in machines.

VP players asking you to note their hand every three hands. It is usually a hand you have seen millions of times like four to a royal failing to connect.

People sitting at the next slot and asking you how to play it. I usually pretend I only speak Dzongkha or tell them simply to put money, push buttons and pray.

A cab driver who with no explanation or excuse, refuses to go the way you insist he should take, and then throws back at you the three pennies you give for a tip.

Ladies of the night who refuse to understand you rather gamble than party.

A casino when twenty of the machines you were going to play first are taken.

The fact Keno Lounges are now a dying species.

People taking up a machine seat and obviously not intending to play at all.

Habitual screamers. A scream should be saved for special moments, like a Megabucks top hit.

BJ players that blame their table neighbour for themselves losing.

Dealers that make mistakes and cause you to call the pit boss, and time is wasted while they consult the eye in the sky, and finally you are paid what you won.

All shows being only 90 minutes long. When losing, a four hour show could be welcome.

A guy trying to sell you a cheap diamond ring. It happened at MGM.

Long lines for cabs, at hotel desk, the elevator, slot card center, buffets, the airport, etc.

Watered down drinks at some casinos.

    Losing.

At the old IP, the only way it seemed you could get down from a lower floor at check-out time was to take an elevator UP and then back down. I admit to be guilty of pushing both buttons in this case.

I was home base at IP for several years and I well remember those elevator backups. Going back to the room to retrieve a forgotten item would easily cost you thirty minutes of your vacation. Were you aware of the 'secret' elevators down the unmarked corridor to the left of the main bank? About seventy five percent of the hotel guests seemed to be unaware of them.

I was aware of all three "secret" banks of elevators at the old IP. (I wonder if they are still around and in use?) They were very handy except at peak times.

Happens way too often...the people who are staring at their phones like the mysteries of life will be revealed while they're walking down the sidewalk, corridor, casino floor, etc. with no regard to where they're going and the people that are jumping out of their way to avoid a collision...eyes up idiots!!!

    New thing (for me anyway)..

People walking around with speakers, playing music out loud. Saw it a few times this last month, very annoying.

    Old thing
Resort fees. Paid them at Gold Coast because you have to. It's insulting how they try to justify them.

What annoys me is the amount of time to travel to vegas from home.

Condescending craps dealers. They seem to be all to common. On the flip side though, it is really fun to play craps at a table with a competent & lively crew. :peace:

All of you are so funny, I never realized so many gamblers hate the same thing I hate at casinos.

    Here’s my list.

-Button slappers & screen rubbers…why oh why? It does not help them win.

-Sitting at a machine and not playing.

-2 people playing one machine, but sitting at 2 separate machines.

-Folks who stop in the dead center of the walkway to talk/text on their phone, they get one of my famous purse checks, this is similar to the other poster’s elbow check.

-Smokers blowing smoke in my direction, when I am playing before they arrive. In all fairness this is partly the casinos fault,
one day all casinos will be smoke free…happy dance, happy dance. :woohoo:

-Screaming when they win cherries or win $5.00.

I'm sure I will think of more later.

I hate it when dealers keep slamming the shoe to get the card out. I'll give them 2 times, maybe 3 if it's a hot table. But if they keep doing it twice every hand I'm leaving. Next is when a dealer or someone there asks where I work. I'm there to get away from everything, to unwind, so don't ask. 3rd is when I lose and someone angrily says something stupid like "you should've split those 10s" or "why did you split those 9s against an 8?" I've been playing about once a month for 12 years now so I know how to play. It bothers me when a floor boss or dealer hears that doesn't tell them I did the right thing. Other little things are someone that re-buys about 5 times or keeps coloring up and not leave. One or two re-buys is fine, stop putting one 20 or 50 after another each time. Get it all out there, and then leave when done.

I have to add my annoyance with slot players with the rituals before every spin. Just Stop It!

It's not only elevators and not only Las Vegas. Subways too! East side IRT (for those who know it or care) seems to be particularly bad. They will not let people off before they barge in.

Last time I told them I didn't have a CD player. I only play music on my iPhone. I told them even my computer only takes flash drives. (although I do have a CD player). He let me go without saying anything to me.
