OK, I have another post about my Oct 1st trip at MB (Corporate Offer) where so much went wrong. I forgot to mention this. After I checked in I proceeded to the Mlife desk to activate my free play. They went on to tell me that they cannot give me my free play due to the fact that in July I have already used this offer. I was at Mirage 7/2 (Summer Offer) and MGM Grand 7/8 (Corporate Offer). All these 3 offers had the same amount for FP and RC. I remember the Corporate offers were needed to book by 7/31. I booked the Mirage and MGM very early, but booked this Oct MB trip on 7/28. At first the desk kept referring to the Mirage stay, but I then had proof indicating that as Summer Offer. Then they said that I used the same offer when I was at MGM and collected the free play already. Of course, I know about the 72 hour rule in regards not able to use free play twice. I never thought that you cant use free play twice with the same corporate offer even with different Casino/hotel. Am I wrong thinking that is not the case?! So they said I can use, at that time I was there, the present corporate offer which had 100 less fp. The 100 less was not going to kill me, but I just wanted to make sure I understate the corporate offer policy. BTW, my host ended up OK'ing the original fp amount. Also, the next day I wanted to get an extra card, a lady in front of me had the same problem and her fp wasn't being honored with them saying she had used it on the last trip. A host straightened her situation out also. I go to vegas 4 times a year, and would say I plan my trips according to my knowledge of the offer policies...mostly from this board. So can I used the fp more than once under the same corporate offer after 72 hours period...in my case 3 months?! So please chime in, so I can by sure about the actual policy. Thank you!

In general, no offer is ALWAYS available, even for a first visit after being mailed to you. Sometimes they "sell out" of that deal, or your play since the mailing has dropped and you are no longer eligible.

With that said, if they confirmed the offer of room and FP when you booked it, you should get it. I usually do all my booking with a host, that way I have the FP/etc. in an email in case there is an issue.

(help us and yourself by using some paragraphs on your next post)

Unfortunately, I just booked my most recent Corporate offer and the previous one just expired and dropped off, so I can't look at the T&Cs. But I do have MGM Grand-specific ones, and they do say this:

Gaming offers may only be redeemed once during the promotional period.

And I'd expect that to apply to corporate offers also. So I can see where, if you were booked for two stays on the exact same Corporate offer, they wouldn't give you the freeplay on the 2nd stay.

But if it was a mix of offers, like

    1 Corporate + 1 Property, or
2 Corporate, but from different offer cycles

then I think they should give it to you. And it seems like this 2nd situation ended up resulting in your getting the FP - they switched in a new offer code.

So the MLife Desk probably was seeing something on their screens that indicated you shouldn't get the freeplay, they saw the Mirage stay first and assumed that was the reason, when it was really the MGM Grand stay where you used up the FP. So I think they eventually handled it correctly.

The way that limitation sentence is phrased though, does give them a little wiggle room, especially for two corporate offers where the promo period overlaps:

Offer 1 is good for stays in Jun-July-Aug-Sept. You book it for June.
Offer 2 is good for stays in Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec. You book it for September.

Even though it's a separate offer cycle, your 2nd stay is within the promo period for the 1st. I don't know what would happen in that case; personally, I'd want the FP, and I think they'd give it to you.

    To OP,
if you indeed used the same offer (Summer offer in your case), you can book multiple stays (72 hours apart), but you can only get FP/RC once.
That is the rule. I think MB didn't treat you wrong.
72 hours is for room offers, i.e., you can stay multiple times after 72 hours. But FP & RC is one time only, no exception.
And it doesn't matter you change to a different casino or not, it doesn't matter either how many months apart, as long as it is the same offer.

I had a problem once at MB when a host didn't hold up his end up the bargain. I contacted their VP of marketing, Richard Knoll, and he was very accommodating and nice. I would contact his office. Unfortunately I no longer have his number, but I'm sure if you call the operator, and ask for Richard Knoll's office and leave a message with his secretary he will help you.

    HI en11871,

Unfortunately I think JeJas and Chuck are right on this one. From my experience, they won't give out FP more than once on the same offer. (I actually was kicking around the same dilemma on my last trip, and both Chuck and JeJas were a big help on giving clarification!)

Now, like Chuck said, if you book a corporate AND a property specific Offer with 72 hours inbetween, you can collect both FP and RC with DIFFERENT offers. We did exactly this, this summer...one corporate offer and one property direct offer, and both properties honored full FP/RC.

But, if you use the same exact offer twice, I've always heard you can only cash in FP once.

BUT if you can find a work around, I'm all for it, that's a lot of time inbetween, good luck!!!!

My bookings in the itinerary indicated that everything was good to go, using the same offer with fr/rc in the offer details for each individual booking. Yeah, sorry for the long paragraph...bad habit of just going on and on.

So the MGM and MB reservations were under the same corporate offer. This was the first using corporate offer multiple times. I usually use specific casino offers so the confusion never came into play.

    Now I know!

It's ok. My host was able to straighten it out.

My work around is called the host!...LOL.

Thank you everyone who gave advice!
