Just received my offer today and seriously considering going Dec 1st -4th. Anyone attend these, is it worth it? Are these offers indicative of future offers or does everyone receive similar offers?

I will be attending the December event,. as well as the GGWU (CET version) It really depends on my many HGS points you have. It will be my 3rd year in attendance.

HGS points can only be earned through the year via slot play, and trade at about 30,000 = $100 in Freeplay or mLife gift cards. You can check your balance on the mLife website

LVChix is attending both of the November Events.

A warning for the December event. It is in the farthest back ballroom at Bellagio. Must be close to a mile from the back end of the casino. It is the one thing that I dislike about the event.

The event was in the Tower ballroom the last two years I was there.

I haven't heard anything about 2x pts periods during the HGS. I know the Grazie Gifts has 2x pts for the week leading up to the final day of the event. Anyone knows about the HGS? Thanks!

I think the 2x points days are over, they had them In the summer, but I don't see anything on my mLife page . . .that doesn't mean there aren't any, I just can't see 'em.

I've been before and am going again. I certainly wouldn't make a special trip to Vegas just for HGS, I mean I only have like 23,000 points. I had already been thinking of making one last trip when the offer came, and I got really cheap airfare. As far as the offer that was included, when I called, she made it sound like it wasn't really tied to the holiday gift shop, and was really just like any other offer, because I'm flying in on November 30, and didn't know if the offer would be valid for dates outside 12/1-4. The offer I got is almost identical to my normal Bellagio offer. Going at this time does have it's disadvantages. My offer included a suite, and she just told me there are no suites available for those dates.

But I lucked out and the holiday cash back offer from Cosmo falls on the same dates - so I can take advantage of that as well.

I go every year that I can remember. One year they only had one date and I was on a cruise that week so unable to go. Nice to see they've continued to have two times to redeem. Like above said, I wouldn't go just for the gift shop if you don't have many points. I've got 357,488 pts so I should go and if I don't get another damn tv I should at least change it to freeplay. I've not been lucky with fp this year tho. So,,maybe a new tablet or I do need a new Iphone. I'll buy a few of those spin to wins as well. Only gonna go down for two nights though. Blew my bankroll last weekend. It was fugly. (20 minutes later)..Ok I lied. Just booked for 3 nights, not 2.

Are you going for the November or December event? Are you staying at MB? I'm at Cosmo first then at MB on December 4 and 5.

I'm probably Bellagio for the 3 nights Dec 2,3,4. Just booked my air couple hours ago. Blew soooo much at MB without ONE handpay last weekend, I gotta shake it up a bit. More than half way to maintaining Platinum after 1 trip. Stupid girl.

I feel your pain. I had a horrible MB trip in August but then had lots of wins in early October. I'm still ahead there for the year!! (I have a loss every where else of course!). Maybe I'll see you at the HGS event. My points are still way lower than they should be but I plan on cashing them in anyway. I booked under a regular offer so I could get the higher freeplay. I hope the bellagio slots are better to you! Good luck!

After a crappy day of work...Booked myself Dec 1-4th at MGM, too good of an offer to pass up. Hoping the 2X points comes to fruition.

The way I look at it, $1000 is too much to leave on the table. Since airfares are cheap from CA, I've flown in for a day just to cash out.
