I may be snipe hunting here, but are there any off-strip properties that are generous with free play and/or dining credit offers for out of towners? I visit Vegas two to three times per year and most off-strip mailers I've received so far required redemption within a couple of months of my visit, then disappear.

Thanks in advance for any information.

several downtown casinos are known to do that.
Boyd's and Stations generally need hotel stay unless they "assume" you are a local.

I haven't found any SUPER generous mailers from off-strip. (Max is like $50 free play per redemption period)

For me, only from the Silverton but I wouldn't call the offer generous. My mailer include some free nights and free play for the couple of months it covers.

    No casino is really generous.
If you play more, you will get more in absolute terms, but you actually get less in relative terms.
I saw at some local joint where I only get $20 FP per month, some guy got $5000 FP per week.

I almost cant believe any casino would give $5000 FSP per WEEK, unless you were losing MILLIONS...even then, the best I've ever seen was $400 FSP per month, for $20k coin-in per month. (that if you did it just right and sneaky you could get $1200 per month for $60k)
Then again, once at Harrahs SoCal, I got $3000 FSP in a month, for being a new sign up and doing DIAD on a mix of slots and vp...

For on-strip, I often get offers for $60ish for Treasure Island while stay freeplay is around $300. I have never gotten it though since if I am getting freeplay I will stay.

Stratosphere and silverton. I got $35 from stratosphere and $25 from silverton from very little play , you don't need to stay with them to use the free play.

I heard from a fella that there's a casino that gives generous comps. They rate you high on paper, rock, scissor, pick a hand and guess the number. Buffet comps are easy to come by. I'm told to try some of the green stuff, it's really nice. I think his name was Clyde Grisweld or something like that.

Yeah a lot of these properties offer ridiculous offers. I went into hooters once just for the hell of it, and was betting their max three spots of $500 per round for probably about 8 hours after getting stuck. The bounce back offer was like $25 in FP and $10 in FB

I know I ended up speaking to the GM and he gave me $500 and a suite with F&B and airfare. Just funny what their mass marketing produced.

It just goes to show that 'you never know until you ask.'

Back when I played nothing but table games, I was never shy about asking for comps and was rarely turned down. Now that I'm mostly an anti-social VP/slot player, I accept the offers from my mailers as the comps that I 'earned.'

It just makes sense to ask for additional comps if they're somewhat consistent with our level of play. The worst thing that can happen is they say no.
