My middle minion has aspirations to grow up to be a professional water bottle flipper, traveling the world and flipping 1/4-full water bottles to land on landmarks. He believes he'll be able to get some big sponsorship deals in the 7 or 8 years between now and when he gets out on his own.

My bride and I are very proud. And hoping he has a back-up plan! :faint:

I think there is a guy that runs marathons while juggling. Your kid has some big shoes to fill.

my aunt had a party last week and all the kids were doing this...i can do some decent flair bartending but didnt want to crush their spirits, lol, even this older kids at work does it when hes bored...not my thing...now I cant post facebook videos but two friends in vegas, flippy does a bottle tower on his head and flips the bottle onto that himself, few days later a good friend vache, he throws the bottle behind his back onto the tower on flippys head...quite impressive those ways

LOL, whenever I see those flair bartenders spinning the bottle and such, I can't help but wonder how many bottles they broke practicing that! :)

I tell the flair bartenders to please just stop and pour the effing drink.

    I can't stand that shit. It's stupid.

very few as they have plastic practice bottles and you dont do anything behind the bar with glass that you cant do 9 out of 10 times...now accidents do happen, few weeks ago a bottle broke mid flair and my friend received several stitches in his hand but didnt miss a day

I don't know if they are flair bars. They just start doing it. If I seem them beforehand, I won't stop.

Why does my comment piss you off?

Years ago at Harrah's AC they had the bartenders at the Eden Lounge start attempting this...Major Fail and I can't blame these older experienced bartenders forced to put on a bit of a show instead of just making a freaking drink.

it doesnt piss me off, just saying, I have never been to a dive bar, local bar, craft cocktail ect bar and randomly have the bartender try to flair if it doesnt fit that bar. Ive only seen flair bartending at flair bars, i wouldnt walk into a flair bar and be pissed that the bartender is doing exactly what he was hired to do,,,entertain and make drinks

Times have changed... But I think I still hold the record for flipping the most quarters off my elbow back in high school.

Good luck defending your quarter flipping title at your reunions, Edserv!

Good wholesome entertainment on that Happy Days clip!

All I seem to remember about Happy Days is the Fonz jumping the shark.
And people telling Potsie to "Sit on It." I hope they weren't referring to the shark!

Times have definitely changed. Great shows back then. My favorites- The Night Stalker (with Darren McGavin), Fantasy Island, Charlie's Angels, Love Boat, and of course, Batman, Get Smart, the cartoon version of Spider Man, and who could forget Green Acres! (speaking of which, there was still a Green Acres slot machine at Palazzo that I managed some how to win a couple hundred bucks on a few trips ago.)

Thanks for the great posts Richard! Cheers!

I've seen that all over the web. It's crazy that people are getting likes and crap for all that. Just crazy to me.
