I was just curious if anyone had any experience with urcomped.com have you booked a stay with them etc.

I don't need them to help me out with stays in Vegas or the USA as I already have a host for that but I see they also offer comps for cruises and wondered if anyone had arranged one with them.

I am CET diamond Aspiration level 2 currently so would be interested to hear others reviews that are on a similar level.

    Thanks.

Yes URComped is INCREDIBLE... I'm biased though, since I work for them :)

Darryl McEwen (Publisher of Seven Stars Insider) is one of our clients. He wrote a blog post about using URComped so that may be useful. We need to add a testimonials page to our website...

Regarding cruises: they tend to demand a higher "burden of proof" for giving out comps than land-based casinos. Reason being, the cost of giving away a cabin on a cruise is generally much higher than a room in a casino. So, where we can often get a comp room for a new URComped player just based on the player's tier status or offers they receive from other casinos, the cruise ships want to see things like play history from last three trips.. That information is easy to get if you have history at one of our partners or if your host is cool and willing to share some info with us to help you out. Just wanted to be upfront about that - I sometimes get frustrated at the hoops we have to jump through to get the comp cruises, but I get why the cruises require it and it's worth doing the work for our clients.
But from your perspective, it's easy. We do the legwork and negotiating, you enjoy the comp cruise :)

I contacted them while I was trying to get "filler" rooms in-between Mlife's 72 hour freeze. I wound up going with a frontend comp I found elsewhere (at a hotel outside of theirs), BUT I was really impressed with everyone I spoke with at the company, including one of the owners.

Had I not found my own frontend comp that was great, I absolutely would have tried them, and I might down the road. Its a clever way to break into a new hotel/cruise as casinos are always looking for reliable players, and URcomped acts like a "reference check" for casinos/cruises for new potential players. Talk to them and see what they say, you don't have to accept what they offer, but personally, I was impressed. Bear in mind they'll be backend comps/targets you have to meet, but you often can't get a casino to even agree to backend comps on your own if there is no rapport.

You can also read more here: http://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/blog/techflash/2015/11/the-pitch-urcomped-creates-service-to-offer-casino.html

P.S. I am in the tech recruiting industry, very similar model, where we can connect people with companies they "might" have found on their own, but can often help the candidate and company find middle ground, middle ground that they might not have found on their own...like a matchmaker. Good luck and have a great trip!

Craig from urcomped has been awesome to deal with. I asked for the moon and he's delivered on several trips that I've planning on taking.

In fact Craig is willing to go the extra mile and keep pushing the limit with respect to trying to maximize the upfront comps a casino is willing to give to a player that has no prior history.

For example, he's been instrumental in getting Harrah's NOLA to pay for $500 airfare credit upfront and I've never stepped foot in that place! Their initial offer was $300 air credit but he persisted and got them to pony up an additional $200.

I realise that this post may come across as a shill but believe me I have no affiliation with urcomped; I'm just a satisfied customer.

Of course YMMV with comps bc as we all know, the amount of comps you may be entitled is entirely based on your ADT, which is derived from some sort of voodoo calculus.

    Highly recommended.

I am a seven star, and I have used URComped a few times. I travel a bit on business, and if I can stay at a casino and play some to relax, why not, right? Well, with URComped, at least for me, I give them a ring or email, ask what's around and what they can setup. One trip, set me up with a hotel in Kansas City, beautiful suite, and even tickets to Bruce Springsteen, which I was able to take my client to. What a great 4-hour show....yup, 4-hours.

They do basically work as a reference service for both player and casino. You give them your player numbers, they obtain your ADT, both national and regional, and "shop" your play to the casino you want to go to or area you plan to go to. If you're a strong player and you call some BFE casino or some indian casino, they don't know you from squat, or if you're full of crap or not, URComped has relationships and a reputation to uphold, so the casinos believe them, basically "vouching" for you, the player.

I continue with my LV host with Caesars, but outside of LV, I use URComped and do recommend

    Their theo calculator is interesting.

For $5 a spin, their theo estimations:

    Penny machines = $250/hr
    Dollar machines = $150/hr
    Five Dollar machines = $125/hr

Hi Chuck - thanks for trying out our comp calculator! I hope you liked it. We had to make some generalizations about the speed of play to come up with coin-in per hour and then theo per hour, so these numbers may be off (especially if someone hits the machine super fast like they are trying to kill a bunch of imaginary insects or if they play slow and like to sip a drink and look around between every spin). Really it's coin-in x average hold percentage of the machine.

The difference in theo that's produced from Penny / dollar / $5 machines is based on the differences in published "hold percentage" information for the different types of machines. I can't find the doc where we got the figures right now, but the hold percentages for penny slots is the highest by far and then there is a little difference in the higher denominations.

Sure, the proportions look in line.

If you plug in the 2015 Win %s for the Strip from the NGC, it works out to be somewhere between 400 - 500 spins an hour, which I think is a fair number to use.

    Pennies: 11.68%
    Dollar: 6.7%
    Five Dollar: 5.3%

Thanks for your feedback everyone I have been dealing with a lovely lady named Penny who has kept in contact with me throughout my request, so far I cannot fault her in any way, she is very professional and a joy to speak to on the phone.

She has my play history from my last 3 trips with CET, which was 1 week vegas (Caesars), 1 week Atlantic City (Caesars) and 1 week Laughlin (Harrah's) all taken in the last 6 months and my ADT is between 850 and 1000 and my loses were high!

I contacted them because we are looking at taking a cruise in April, there are 6 of us going and we will require 3 rooms (cabins) naturally I am only looking at mine being comped the other two would be paid for.

As I explained to Penny, Caribbean cruises would need to offer something nice for me to take their offer as I will already be spending $5k to £6k on the other cabins, and I may be better off just paying for my cabin as well and taking my play to Vegas the week after the cruise, thus not tied into them and having to play on the cruise.

I will wait and see what they say and keep you updated.

    Thank you

Just signed up, I am Platinum at MGM Resorts
Black Card at Morongo Casino resorts near Cabazon CA
Silver at Pechanga resort in Temecula CA

Yes, While i love the Mirage, the wife has been craving Caesars Palace and i wont budge on paying for any room in Vegas
the way I play, I feel I should be comped everything from rooms to food to Shows if I want it.
If they can get me 3 nights there with a 300 food and beverage credit, It would be worthwhile for myself and the Casino.
Lets see what hte response is tomorrow

I just signed up with them thanks to this thread. I figured it couldn't hurt to kick their tires. I uploaded my Diamond CET card. My Black Label Borgata card. My Platinum Trop card and my Platinum Mlife card. That's all I had on me at the time.

I have been trying to get something going in Reno. But I guess even Circus Circus there cant see my Mlife play to do much more than a room. I can get a room at a CET joint by using total rewards online but nothing extra. Its hard to book a trip to Reno with just a room comped, when Vegas will give me a few hundo in free play plus some resort credits. Fingers crossed!

I just wanted to bring this thread back to life because Penny at UR comped has looked after me yet again, she is just a fantastic person to deal with, and absolutely nothing I ask her is too much trouble, she is super responsive and extremely passionate and that is so important in this day and age.

I have two trips booked with Ur Comped now, one for a week at Caesars in October and one for a week's cruise in April, and I plan to book many more trips directly with her for next year including AC and LV again.

If you are a diamond card holder (or above) and don't have a host (or even if you do have a host) but feel your play warrants one, then you seriously need to get in touch with these guys, they are outstanding.

Sounds interesting, maybe for people (like me) who are not particularly loyal to the firms we've been loyal to. :) :)

For many years when I played at Caesars, I booked all my trips through a long established independent rep company like Ur Comped.
They made all my reservations for rooms, dining,LOC and events.
I used this company because of a friendship with one of the principals.

I moved to MGM properties for reasons unrelated to this host company.

That being said,on numerous occasions , inside hosts from multiple properties told me I would be able to get more back in comps due to the way these guys are paid.
Did they have an agenda? Maybe.

To paraphrase "The theoretical pool is only so big, when the rep gets 20% as a commission, the casino will be less generous with you."

I discussed this with my friend who deals with national marketing departments like UR Comped. He was told it was not really supposed to work like that but...........

This is in no way trying to cast dispersions on UrComped.
I have no doubt they have hooked players up with rooms etc. like my friend still does.
I see the benefit for players that have no established relationships not really for players with track records.
I may get flamed for this but just conveying my personal experience.

So company like URCOMPED is like "junket" isn't it? I never used them before, as I mentioned before but I didn't hear positive news about those guys.... I'm just not sure if those guys in same category or not

I can appreciate what you are saying but this is how I see it:

I called them and told them I was interested in a cruise, to cut a long story short they got myself and my wife a cruise (that has no links to Caesars, solely based on my play at Caesars) valued at over $5000 entirely comped with absolutely no expected play (none) However, my intentions will naturally be to play (and lose) because I am a gambler (and they know that)!

With regards to Caesars I have a host but, let's just say, she's not the most communicative, with UrComped they get stuff done, and quickly, I am also not a greedy person and I never put any charges on my room, therefore, I don't need back end comps, thus, I am happy for UrComped to take their cut from my play, and why not, they look after me and get things done.

I know I can pick up the phone, speak to them, tell them what I want and it will get done. I don't have time to send multiple emails out to CET, wait for responses etc, I want results (and fast) and UrComped provide that to me.

So they comped whole cruise without any expectation on you playing while on a cruise? So what happens you just take the cruise and don't play... Or not called them back ever!?? Are they just taking chances on you?
