Just wondering if anyone knows what 24-hour period Boyd considers to be the gambling day, for the purposes of calculating ADT? i.e. What exact hour does it start/end?

Also, would it be the same for all Boyd properties? If not, then I'd be interested in MSS, Cal, Fremont, Orleans, and Gold Coast... I plan on hitting all those on my next trip!

    Thanks in advance!

I believe the gambling day starts at either 5AM or 6AM. I pulled an all-nighter a couple of years ago, and I noticed the change in points on my card around 5-6AM.

It's 3am, probably for all properties, although I don't visit all of them.

So far, I've read that it starts at midnight, 3am, and 5-6am. So I have no idea which is correct... :) Doh!

I have asked at the players club at different casinos and have gotten different answers.

3 AM at MSS. I don't know about any of the other Boyd properties.

Has it changed, Joe? I saw in some much older threads that you had said it was midnight at MSS...

I apparently was provided bad info. From one of the casino bosses, I was told 3 AM, not midnight.

Cool, thanks! I guess I'll assume sometime between 3am-6pm for now... I'll likely be sleeping during that time anyway! I'll ask at the specific properties I am staying at but I'm guessing I'll strike out in finding out the truth.

At the Orleans about a week ago, I played until about 2 AM and, when I played again mid morning, it already showed I had play for the day. The points played didn't change while I was playing the night/morning before though so it is a mystery to me.

I couldn't figure it out. I could tell it definitely wasn't at midnite. I think it's 2 or 3AM but I am not sure.

3 am at MSS. Sure it is same at all downtown. Had card in machine at 3am with daily points showing. Took out a couple minutes later. Put back in and it went to 0 daily. I believe if already in machine it adds on same day til you take it out.
