as I said before they booked way too many shows and it would never hold up garth didn't , cold play bombed at show time , now George , u cant give tickets away for this weekend.

and now the stones are adding a second show with an average price at 500$ a ticket and the first show isn't even sold out.lol

that why I keep telling people 99.99 % percent off the time u don't need too worrie about tickets a head off time

saturday late show they only sold half the venue and not even.like 9000 tickets out of 20000, and other nites werent sold out,and 2 nites they gave free tickets out for locals, vegas isnt realy a concert city and way to many venues and we didnt need the new tmobile its to big. but its there way to justify charging more for tickets and crap.
most veunes get papperd as they dont really sell many tickets.

I hadn't heard about the lack of ticket sales.

Do you think an NFL football team is a good fit for Vegas?

no and nor hockey , its only good for the casinos and tourism, but it will be empty.

avery day as a locel we get offerd free tickets to basicly every show and concert just to get people in there even barbra striesand.

the reason they built the new arena was to lure more tv show pruductions thats it butthere charge u the consumers 100$ extra becuuase of it. shows that should be at the smaller venues are player there and they are charging u more fior tickets , drinks and merch.also the best seats are tide into the suites.

and now sheldon is building a competing venue by his hotel to compete with mgm and aeg , he teamed up with live nation and all the costs with be put on u in ticket prices and empty seats.

its stupis.sls got rid of the there nite club opened a shitty concert venue that sells no tickets and all it does is compete with livenations own other venues hob and the rest they have. sls would have been better off with the club that was open 3 days a week instead off twice a months too knowbody

Thanks for the heads up on the stones, this is the first I've heard that. I bet a lot of people that bought the Wed show wish they had the Sat show instead. I'm going to keep my eye on this, I might try to get to vegas for one of these shows.

for george strait in december on one nite there are 4000 tickets in the secondary market thats not counting the casino hold and alot off those wind up being sold. that is supid, over 1/4 of the venue tickets out there too be resold.

the problem with the stones is they are so evercharging people tickets that people arent really buying extras its the promoter stuck with them so they price change them.that one day good seats are 800 nest they same seats are discounted too 500$ when they dont sell the just rescale they seating chart but dont tell anyone like airplane seating

Garth did this when he came through Knoxville. Originally, he had 2 shows, but as the scalpers, er I mean, his fans bought up all the tickets to the first 2 shows, they then added a third show. By the end of the day and when the third show was just selling nose bleed seats, they announced a fourth night.

Garth's people got their money and a bunch of scalpers got stuck holding tickets.

Wait first stones show is not sold out? Axs says that is not officially sold out but no tickets available online, how can I get my hands on those tickets?

The second show will for sure help me in the secondary market quest for my wife and her mom for the 19th. $400 for cheapest seat on stub hub is nuts

notsure what show ur talking about

depends what u are trying too do and what type off person u are. do u have too specific seats or u arent happy. do u need too have tickets before u go or ur not happy.

do u not know how too check whats available and whats on the secondary market and also not know how to know when they will realease the band and promoter holds wich are the best seats.

are u looking too face value for a ticket or waiting too play a game a chicking and try too get the ticket below cost.

right now the concerts that good out here is phish and thats only for certian seats on certian nites . hallowen will still be a good ticket for any ticket in.

I thought I was rather clear but...or think you missed the post right before that when I mentioned it was the stones concert on the 19th.

I have checked the secondary markets daily. Now if there are some vegas specific ones I may have missed please sure. I have been on the normal national ones.

Wife doesnt care, as long as she is in. Doesn't want me to spend a ton. But I budgeted anywhere from 200 to 600 for two tickets. Right now on secondary those are min $400, though I did miss 2 for $150 on labor day weekend that went. I was at a party and didn't check.

As to knowing how and when promoters release tickets for sale no I dont. I can count on 1.5 hands the amount of concerts I have been to.

wait till they add the second show prices will drop also the 19th isnt sold out they just pulled it off sale too sell the new show.

obviusly ur budget is very low becuase of the hight ticket price too begin with. .basicly not counting the lucky dips the cheapest tickets were like 500$ a pair to 1600 a pair plus vip tics.

wait till they add the extra show , u will probaly get lucky the week off or day off thats ur best bet on the secorday market.

if u really want to go try posting on this board looking for tics. http://shidoobeewithstonesdoug.yuku.com/directory#.V9Iu7bmoiyE

they always has extras becuase as they realease good seats there fans sell the bad seats they bought

Yeah if something falls within my target budget I will grab it but I will wait. I personally feel with the second show, demand will drop for Wednesday and shift to saturday which should bring prices down. At least I hope so!
