You don't have to stay at the property to get a Cabana do you? I would like to check on Mandalay Bay pool midweek in September and was thinking of getting a lazy river Cabana, we will be staying at MGM though. Also do prices change? I think it shows online for $425 right now.

Second question is about the TV's in Cabanas in general. Thinking of getting a Cabana, not sure where for Sunday the 18th of Sept. How many channels are on the TV. I would definitely want to check out the NFL games. Any recommendation? Any other good places to catch the games besides the big sportsbooks and bars?

Lastly anyone have an idea why I can't see weekend prices for Mirage cabanas? Are they all gone or do I need to call. Any idea how much?

You definitely don't need to be staying at MBay to hire a cabana, we got a lazy river cabana in July, we were staying at Wynn. I don't remember all the tv channels. I have a walkthrough video of the lazy river cabana.

Thanks. I've already watched your video, it helped me decide to chose the lazy river cabana.

Now just gotta find out about the TV's

The televisions in the cabanas at Mandalay Bay had most of the major channels, including the sports channels. I actually like the cabanas at the West Lagoon pool - it is close enough to the wave pool and lazy river without being right there seemed to be less kids in that area if that matters to you

Was a part of a group at a Mirage cabana in July on a Friday and it was $425.

I'll be in town just me and the GF for my 30th.. I'm tempted to find the best cabana rate, but with only two not sure I could get bang for my buck... even if there was F&B included

This is the same problem we have. Me and my buddy travel and it seems ridiculous to get a cabana for just 2 people so we never do it. Also, a full day at the pool seems like a long time. I much rather spend mornings at the pool and do other things in the afternoon. I am tempted to get a beach chair or hammock (Delano) for a half day or so.

On our last trip in July there was three of us and we had a gazebo for three days at Mandalay Bay and it was worth it. Very similar to a cabana but you don't have a refrigerator, but you do get a bucket of ice with bottled water that is refilled all day. There is a table and chairs, a safe, flat screen tv and ceiling fan plus padded loungers and 2 inner tubes. It is really nice to have your own personal space and we were at the West Lagoon which is close to the wave pool and lazy river.
