You going to take them up on that offer? The best I can figure, that room goes for more than $170 more per night over a basic room. I'd seriously think about doing that!

I'd probably do it for that rate. I haven't stayed in a base room at Aria yet but the corner suites are great - the extra bathroom, the fridge and the views are worth it for me. I'm staying on a comp on my next trip but hoping for a decent upgrade email myself.

I booked through Mlife at Aria for the first time, they gave us VIP room rates for a strip view.

How often do they send out emails for room upgrades?

For me, not so often :)
They did not send me any offers for my 2 previous trips.
Interestingly, this time they did but before they sent me the offer, I e-mailed them and asked if there's any upgrade available.

I've stayed in a standard king, a handicap accessible king, and a Corner Suite and I'd say that the Corner Suite is definitely worth the upgrade. You should get access to check-in at the Tower Suites lounge and also get access to the snacks and drinks in there, too.

I got one of these email offers for my trip at the end of this month. Haven't gotten one before. Just a warning you might want to confirm if this is just the basic corner suite (mountain view) or a corner suite with strip view which is the next step up from the base corner suite. I was told it was the base corner suite and they would not let me upgrade above this ahead of time. I was told it did not include the lounge or limo service.
