Last night at Harrah's Lake Tahoe I hit a Royal Flush on Let it Ride, I pulled back my first $25 and let it ride on the dealers first card, never in a million years did I expect that Ace of Spades to land!

This photo shows a payout of over $70,000 BUT the eyes in the sky realised there was a $50,000 aggregate limit per round on the table so that's what I ended up with!

It took them over an hour to pay me and one pit boss in particular ruined the experience by being rude and aggressive towards me as if I had done something wrong - well I guess I had lol !!

I am hoping to hit another big one before I leave the USA ;-)

Wouldn't have mattered. He still would have only gotten the $50,000 aggregate payout. I hate that rule (even though it has never affected me yet)

Looking at the table, the $50k limit doesn't include the three-card bonus or the six-card bonus. You can see from the payout, the $20k was paid out for the $1 bonus bet and only $30k was paid out for the 1000 to 1 bet for $50. The three-card bonus bet and the six-card bonus bet were paid out in addition to the $50k aggregate limit.

His post states that the photo doesn't show the actual payout though......it was adjusted after they realized the aggregate rule and was reduced by $20k.

I was thinking that too, because he had three high cards. But it ended up not mattering since he got the Royal and they only paid him a maximum of $30k for that bet.

I don't see the $70k in the photo. I see the $50k aggregate limit plus the $60 three-card flush and $75 six-card flush win for a total of $50,135. The photo already shows that the $20k was taken away. Unless they took away another $135 later.

Edit: I just noticed that the 5k chip by itself is in a stack so it could very well be that the 3-card or 6-card bonuses were not paid due to the limit.

Congrats, that's a hell of a win! Too bad the pit boss was rude. If they're gonna be that sore over short paying out on a game where they've protected themselves with an aggregate limit, I don't know if I'd give them any chance to get any of it back.

I think thats a stack of 5....making a $50k payment for the $50 play on the hand (2 green chips). From the way I understood the initial post, the bonus bets were taken back (including the $20k for the $1 bet up top). I hate that casinos have a rule like this to screw the player when a big hit happens a few times per year.

Hi all, sorry for not replying earlier I am now in San Francisco having left Tahoe this afternoon.

The photo shows the full payout of $70,000 plus change, the single $5k chip at the bottom is a stack of 5 chips for $25k - they were just about to pay this all out to me when the phone rang and they told them to pull it all back due to the aggregate limit.

In the end I won $50k plus the 6 card bonus flush win, they kept my 3 card flush win and the $20k for the $1 bonus win.

It's a sick rule the aggregate but I guess as it was clearly displayed when I sat at the table there is nothing I can do but not to give them any more play!!

Awesome hit! The "boys" in the back room were running video a good part of that hour looking for any out they could find.
If it were a smaller casino, think I would have offered the other players $100 each to stick around until I got paid.
Made my own party right then and there with the house buying the drinks until they paid me.

It was only me and my wife on the table, I tipped the dealer $1000 but was going to tip her $5000 had they paid the full $70,000.

Lol, not even close...Tahoe is the exception to the rule...it's a higher rolling place than all but CP in Vegas...
And congrats mate! Never have I seen a royal on LIR before!
