I was shocked and saddened when I watched a woman lose over $200 in just 4 minutes in a cold slot machine called Da Ji La. It was so heart breakingly sad. I felt so sorry for her. :( $200 is a light bill for many people! So damn sad how the machine vaccummed away her money so damn fast!:(

$200 wasn't much for her if she put herself in a position to possibly lose it in 4 minutes? If it was then it was just plain stupid, not sad.

$200 in 4 Minutes? That's Slow Rolling It if you ask me. Haha!
It's fun to Win but I always expect to Loose in Las Vegas!

I swear I'm one of those people who should walk into the casino and throw my money on the floor and walk back out. I can't win. I am on the donation only list apparently. It's an exclusive club maybe I can get them to let you in?

oddly, this seems to be the norm to me, it's unusual to play for hours and hours on a mere $100-$200 (except in the VMB trip reports of course)

I don't play slots for this reason- I'd like to play for awhile, maybe even long enough to have a server deliver a drink

I'd feel sorry for her if she dropped the $ somewhere by accident, certainly not gambling with it

I know that feeling! But once in awhile that door cracks open a bit..:faint:

I felt sorry for the guy next to me when he told me he had lost a few hundred in the machine I was playing then I did this right after he finished his sentence.

That's why I can't sit next to a machine I just played and lost a lot on. I have to move far away so I don't see that

I did that once, put a $100 in a machine and played it down to $40 with no hits at all, then moved down 2 machines, guy sits where I just was and in less than 2 minutes hits for $2700. Now, if I leave a machine I move at least a few rows so I won't know if someone hits on it after I get off of it!

I sympathized with a lady who just left a machine I sat down at. I hit it for $3000 less than 5 minutest after she left. She came back around and saw that hit and was upset. She said, "I was just on that damn thing!" and stomped off in a bit of a huff.

I lost $200 in VP in less than 10 minutes with $1 bets ($5 a hand)...literally every hand was a losing proposition. Never felt so unlucky on VP before.

ME TOO! haha. Although we should probably flush it down the toilet instead, at least we get to hit a button and watch it do something. :(

That's pretty rough. I finished the losing portion of the former Cosmo $100 loss rebate in 9 minutes of dollar 9/5 DDB. I don't think I even played very fast. I think I got 27 Identity points which under their old system means about $200 coin-in (40 hands)...doh! The recouping portion took me about an hour playing 5-play penny poker, I sorta sucked there too, $89 back of $100...lol

A 50 Dragons slot wasn't showing me much love, so I moved on to another game. A woman who had been watching me play on the not so friendly 50 Dragons told me another woman got on the 50 Dragons slot I had just left and got two back to back almost full screens of The Dragon(highest paying symbol) right after I left. Grr. To quote No Doubt's Don't Speak song, "Don't tell me because it hurts." LOL, but that hurt badly. To show how much this hurr, I was playing Max Bet when it wasn't showing me much love, and just two full lines of The Dragon is worth $85 on a ten cent bet. And I was playing $2.50 a hit at this time. Ouch

Ha Ha - I resemble that.

Yep - I'm guessing a few Trip Reports are written in rose colored glasses - reality sets in when I return to the room and count out what's left of that day's Bankroll - I've spent the entire day convinced I was 'holding my own' - ha ha.

Too funny!:nworthy::nworthy: I joined that club a long time ago - but hope springs eternal.

For sure - I hustle when walking away from a machine - too hard to see that next person sit down and on the first spin, win big. Good for them, darn it....

Nope, I don't feel sorry for people losing money. It was their choice in the first place. I don't feel sorry when those same people win money either, again it was their own choice to play.

I think I feel more sad when I end up with losing sessions. Usually it is me who is the one they vacuum money from on the tables and the machines.

Absolutely ditto that Geogran. I love to see people win, but I'm still human, I'd rather see the machine pay someone than not, but I don't want to know if I stepped off it 2 minutes too soon. :D
