Since Letterman retired I really have not had a fave in that timeslot. I seem to be bouncing between Colbert and Kimmel. I do admit I get a kick out of Corden though. I seldom do Fallon since the local news on the NBC affiliate (WOWT) is so bad that I go *CLICK* if it comes on. :)

I very vaguely remember Paar, came of age with Carson, and followed Letterman as long as he was on.

So, which one do all of you watch? Inquiring minds wish to know. :)

I liked Letterman until he left NBC. Don't watch much TV these days. Liked Craig Ferguson out of the hosts over the past few decades. I also like the Comic Insult Dog.

Of course nobody can top Larry Sanders.

    You may now flip.

Don't really watch any, but the one I would stick around the most when he was on the air was Ferguson. I liked Conan back in the NBC days, now not so much.

Only Jimmy Fallon clips on YouTube!
Sadly the format died when Johnny retired!

Everything is on DVR. Colbert lasts about 10 minutes. Fallon political is pretty good, then we're done. Kimmel, most shows we're done in 5 minutes.
I wish Full Frontal with Samantha Bee was on 5 nights a week. It is a cutting edge show, like the Daily Show USED to be.

I watch which ever one is on the TV when I wake up after falling asleep in the chair. Usually Conan. After I drag myself out of the living room, brush my teeth, etc I click around to watch the guest, not the host. Sucks getting old.

I miss Carson and Letterman because they seemed more genuine. IMO the hosts today interview by reading cards and are too kiss ass to the guests. Doesn't seem as much like a real conversation, just an agenda.

I agree that YouTube shows the best stuff without all the crap. I recently watched all the carpool karaoke segments. Hilarious I also enjoyed that most of them were of my era (Stevie Wonder and Rod Stewart).

They're on way past my bedtime. My parents never watched any when I was growing up either, so it's just not something I think of. Except Graham Norton - I dvr his show on BBCAmerica - I love him!! (I don't watch daytime talk shows either, unless I'm getting a pedicure - I usually do that first thing on Friday mornings when I'm working from home, and they like ABC so I catch some of Rachael Ray/Live with Kelly but I just don't care for the format....)

I'm sleeping by then. I had high hopes for Colbert but I just watched his first few shows and never watched since. I also like Samantha Bee, I record it.

I watch the Late Late show with James Corden, mostly because I love his carpool karaoke skits.

Loved Johnny Carson -- classic and classy also watched Craig Ferguson. Now no one for talk shows -- all yawners to me.

I noticed a major difference when Johnny moved from NYC to California, which was about the time I went away to college. The show lost much of its "bite" with the move. I'm trying to think when it went from 1 1/2 hours to one hour and can't remember exactly but I'm sure it was during Johnny's California tenure.

I like Late Night w/Seth Myers, mostly just the fake news, and sometimes Colbert, who often has the most interesting guests (i.e. non-actors).
