Some places that we have enjoyed stopping at for a nice cocktail are the Rhumbar bar at Mirage, Squeeze by the Linq, Chandalier bar at the Cosmo. This trip we are staying at the MGM Grand. Where would you recommend as a casual place to relax and get a good cocktail at or near MGM?

Thank you in advance for your replies. I do appreciate the thoughts and advice.

Whiskey Down right in MGM is a good bar to relax and have a drink.

If you are into beer, The Pub in Monte Carlo has a huge selection.

Any place whose two drink specials are a bacon martini and a concoction called A$$Juice HAVE to be cool.

The t-shirt I bought has a skeleton squatting over a martini glass with the slogan "Outta our a$$, into your glass."

Its a different crowd there, to say the least

Maybe you can check La Salsa Cantina. We've been there a lot when staying at MGM and Tropicana. But we drink very cheap Corona there. But you can also buy cocktails to go, so guess you can drink them there as well.

We've been sitting at the bar, and have a nice look outside.

If you go outside MGM and trough the grand gift shop.. outside then turn right.

If you're looking for outdoor seating, Border Grill over at Mandalay Bay might work. I'm also a big fan of Todd English Pub at Aria.

We were walking thru the Miracle Mile Shops and somehow ended up at a bar looking out at the Hilton pool. Pretty nice low key bar. Not sure I could find it again.

Lobby bar at MGM is a good place to unwind with a drink. I also like Centrifuge. If you go a lil further south at MB there is Skyfall. If ya want something with more energy in crowd the circle center bar at NYNY is pretty cool.
