I've taken all my craps action to the Golden Gate downtown 10x odds, cheaper tables and friendlier dealers.

I like playing at the GG but about half of the dealers seem to be in training and a lot of times they need help with payouts. The CP dealers may not be as friendly but they usually know what they are doing. If I am downtown I think I prefer playing at the Golden Nugget or MSS.

Fight fire with fire. You were right next to the stick, so you wait until the dice are flying to the other end of the table, and scream in his ear every roll.

    "HEY! six!!!!

    "ALRIGHT, Neener!"

    "LITTLE JOE!"

Chip rattling becomes a lullaby after all that horse shit!

I haven't gambled in Caesars in a loooong time (over a decade at least). I'm sorry to hear how bad their craps dealers are. I can understand one or two having a bad day now and then, but after reading this thread it sounds like they have a problem.

I agree with everyone about the low ceilings, if done badly can make you feel claustrophobic for sure!

Seems to me that the only time I get poor service or attitude in vegas is right when they come on shift. i blame the bosses because you know they had some pre shift briefing that just rubs the workers the wrong way.

Bosses go back to their offices and worker go to the front lines. Of course they are upset because of whatever stupid rule is now in place that they have to enforce.

Bosses pat each other on the backs and go about making up new stupider rules for the next pre work meeting.

They should be like the Bellagio dealers and discuss their annoyance/hate about management in front of everyone and not take it out on the players. :D

This is a familiar scene (although not just at CP).

Back in the day, when she glowed turquoise at night, there was no better gambling experience. Playing high limit craps all night in the Olympic Casino was an experience like no other, but those days are long gone. :(

I know hate is a strong word, but I hate the craps dealers at CP. They have a superior attitude, and it is no fun to play there. The CET family has much better and friendlier dealers at Harrahs, Cromwell and PH. When the Margaritaville craps table is open, that is the best one of the whole lot.

During my very first trip to Vegas, my goal was to say I shot craps at Caesars Palace!!! I took $60 bucks and lost it all in 3 minutes lol but no lie that was the highlight of my trip. I remember the crew being really nice. But that was at least 9 years ago.

Some of the friendliest dealers around are at the Cromwell (all games, not just craps). Love playing there.

I've had the same negative experiences at CP from my trips the last few years. Horrible dealers in my experience, abysmal drink service, and just a general overall staleness, an overarching feeling that the glory days have been gone and aren't coming back. Plus its the only and i mean only place in vegas ive never had at least a small win.

Yet, you still see the people flock to the place like it's 1985. For me, I've taken the majority of my play to Mlifes big boys next door unless I'm hurting on funds in which case I don't mind showing Ballys some love.

I play more craps at CP than anywhere else, and I'll admit they have a couple of dealers who are consistently totally out to lunch, but they have some good ones too.

For sure the OP's experience was pretty bad.

Caesars was my Vegas home for a few years and the craps pit was where I spent a considerable amount of time.
Back then, the craps dealers were like the old boys club. It was pretty much all guys and most had been there for a while.
If you were playing high stakes and toking they were fine,if not..............you were going to be the recipient of their arrogant, condescending attitude.
I knew quite a few of them that had"moved up" from other properties and they were OK.The long term Caesars guys were tough.

Unfortunately, the attitude that they are the top of the food chain pervades the entire property .
I stop in when in town for a show or dinner but my days of staying and gambling there stopped about nine years ago.

I recall once hitting a $2 yo bet for the dealers (I was on it for $10 for myself) and you would have thought I slapped their mothers. I was pretty cheery and maybe a little buzzed when I asked if they wanted to parlay it and the stick man told me in the most lifeless voice and I quote "I don't care sir." It might not have been impressive money to them, but at the end of the day it's money I bet for them as a thank you for a service. Act like you have a pulse or find a new job. My Vegas time is too precious to put up with their shitty attitudes.

Love the Golden Gate, have the best luck there.

Last time I was in Vegas I hit 6 points two nights in a row there. It was a Sunday at 3am in the morning and I must've been winning too much cus they raised the table mins from $5 to $10. Who raises the table mins like that at 3am on a sunday, especially downtown? Anyways I was so blitzed I got mad and decided to leave, people kept trying to get me to go roll for them at club las vegas lol and some guy followed me back to my hotel and kept saying how hot I was rolling and I should keep playing. It was a wild night.
