My April first visit game plan is just about finished and I find myself with an opening on a Sunday night for a show. I'm debating between a Cirque show or possibly Rock of Ages (loved the movie).

Only Cirque show I've seen in person is La Nouba in Orlando and I was not a fan.

My first choice would be Love but my wife is a huge Beatles fan and I'd feel bad seeing it without her (work conference so I am solo). I have a ticket for BeLIEve already for earlier in the week. Any personal faves I should consider??

Ka has some fantastic stuff going on. If you are early enough in the month you can catch one of the final performances of Zarkana.

I would say yea to Love. But, without wife... maybe not.

KA is good. Some folks really like Believe. Others (high number) hate it. Scroll down the page for reviews.

If you did not like the show in Orlando, avoid Mystere for sure, or Zarkana.

Michael Jackson definitely the best cirque show. Love is #2 I've seen Ka 3 times and would also highly recommend it. Also saw Mystere and Le Reve. Would recommend Mystere again.

I'm tempted by Ka on my next visit. Went to see Absinthe last time around, not strictly Cirque but it was a hilarious show and I would go again.

Any discussion of Cirque shows will get you opinions all over the place. One persons "must see" is another persons "worst Cirque show". So take all of these opinions with a grain of salt :)

Personally I enjoyed Zumanity. It's the only R rated Cirque show, adult raunchy humor. Funny if you enjoy adult humor :)

Yes....Zumanity was awesome..Great acrobatics like in the others shows but with nudity and crude jokes...nothing more vegas than that.

Zumanity, Ka, Love and Zarkana, in that order. All are great shows, but if I was to see one of them again it would be Zumanity.

I don't think Le Reve is a Cirque show. With that being said I would like to see it. It seems similar to "O" but I've read that it is more intimate and engaging.

Problem is my wife is not interested in seeing it and I don't want to go alone. My buddy and I are planning a trip together and maybe he'll come and see it with me. Might be a little awkward since the plot of the show is about romance and love, it's possible people might think we're a ....you know, couple, LOL!

boy that's for sure Vic...I suspected it would be but didn't want to leave any stone upturned.

My opening is Sunday night so that eliminates Zarkna (which looks like it might have worked for me based on the clips)
I do have an Absinthe ticket already which leans me away from Zumanity just for variety's sake.

I like the addition of the water aspects of "O" and think the technical staging would be as interesting as the acts for me.
Ka has a little of that aspect too but I'm left cold be martial arts stuff.

I think the one that appeals to me the most is Love, then O, then Ka but I need to resolve my internal struggle in seeing Love without my love

I may just leave it to the fates and see which one I can get a day of show discount ticket too.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts.

Saw Love a couple of weeks ago, and was blown away. That said, I still think O is my favorite. I personally hated Zarkana...

Haven't seen One yet, but out of the others, I thought Love was the best.

That said, I'd choose Absinthe over all the Cirque shows.

Le Reve is not a Cirque show. The creator used to work for Cirque, but it is not a Cirque show.

Having seen Zumanity, Zarkana, O and Love - O and Love are by far my favourites, really enjoyed Zumanity, was very disappointed in Zarkana. As for discount tickets, O is very seldom discounted, so you may have better luck with Love.

Believe is awful. Why else would they give out free tickets in the casino and the theater is only half full. This happened to my buddy and his wife, they walked out after 15 minutes because it was so bad. O is my favorite show. The "stage" is amazing and I really dig the music that's performed by a live band. KA was pretty good also. The way the stage rotates and tilts is something that has to be seen. Zarkana was a disappointment to me also. I'm glad I got free ticket from MyVegas, it was meh. Mystere was good, probably be awesome if you were on shrooms.

If we're talking just Cirque shows, then I would recommend 'Love.' I am not, by any means, a Beatles fan and I still found that show *fantastic.*

I have seen all Las Vegas Cirque shows with the exception of Chris Angel's Mind Freak (I'm a huge magic fan, but nothing would make me see that show) this is how I personally rank the shows"
O, Ka, Love, The One, Mystere, Zumanity, Zarkana.
Le reve was made by the same director as O by cirque du soleil, it is really good, but I still prefer O.
Ka has a great story telling behind it and the interaction with the Scenario makes it great. Love and The One are tied in my opinion it all depends if you are a bigger fan of Michael Jackson or the Beattles.
    Just my humble opinion.

I appear to be in the minority, but I would rank the ones I have seen Mystere, Zarkana, and Ka in third. I am more a fan of the acrobatics than thr storyline.
