    My Trip Report

Hello all! I have lurked on here since March of last year, haven't posted much. Anyways, I love reading all of your TR's (especially the legendary Packer's) so I figured I would chip in with mine.

My first trip was last year. GF and I stayed at the Mirage and had a blast. We are both 21, but she was a student at that time. I sell houses. Saw love, walked the strip, went downtown, all the typical spots.

This trip, I am paying for and taking GF's dad for his 50th birthday. It was a surprise as I had been saving for this. We booked this 10 days ago, so it's fairly short notice but should be a blast.

Staying at The Linq 8-10th and Luxor the night of the 10th. Luxor was a myvegas comp. Flying spirit (I know the stigma, but I paid to have the "big front seat" to have a bit more comfort. It's only a 2 hour flight from PDX) Also purchased pre sale tickets to Calvin Harris on Tuesday at Omnia.

    Goals for this trip-
    1) Play in my first no limit Texas hold 'em tournament
    2) Pick up tickets to the Pac-12 basketball tournament for Thursday to cheer our Ducks on
    3) Win some money so I can take GF's dad golfing at the Wynn GC. I can't afford it, and he loves golf. Pray for a handpay!!!
    4) Eat a great steak dinner (any suggestions?)
    5) Get some sun!
    6) Check out the Mob Museum
    7) In-N-Out (enough said)
    8) Enjoy some quality time with my hopefully future father in law!

I'm looking forward to this, hope you are as well. Join me and go along for the ride!!!

That must be a special girl to have you pulling out all the stops for her Dad! Happy you decided to join the fun and share your trip report.

Biscayne Steak and Sea at the Tropicana doesn't get talked about much but it is very good. They also have a very good wine list. N9ne at Palms has a price fixe menu from 5-7pm for $59 pp.

There are many great options for steak. How much would you like to spend on the dinner?

Looking forward to following your report. Go get that handpay.

She is the love of my life, that's for sure!

Looking to spend about $100 each on the steaks. I'll look into those places!

Is gf going on the trip too?

Hopefully her and/or her dad get a handpay and treat you to the golf. You've been pretty generous so far!

    Good luck!

Is Dad going to Calvin Harris? Good for you for taking Dad in Law. I wish you many handpays. Will watch your trip report to make sure you two don't get into any trouble. (I'm a Mom of 24 and 29 yr old boys who've been to Vegas with me many times). Oh Lord, the trouble you can get into! Have fun!

I saw my rebels whip your ducks in December at the MGM Grand garden arena, it was a fun game. Pls tell how that sandovals burrito is, I usually eat at Henry's tavern before the flight out of Portland. Have fun and I look forward to the TR...

I watched that game from home, great game!

Sandovals is great. The mild salsa is yummy. There and Koi Fusion are my PDX food stops!
