Hey everyone not sure if this is the right section to put this if not can the admin move it to the proper spot.
Just wondering if there are any diamond perks that's not listed on the site. I have read online through another forum that Diamond gets free cabana at Harrahs. Can we make an "unofficial list" From what I know diamond gets
-Priority lines at hotel check-in, restaurants, casino cages and the Total Rewards Center
    -Access to diamond lounge
-20% off at casino gift shops
    -$100 Celebration dinner
-Free pair of show tickets each month
    -No resort fee
    -Access to spa

Is there anything else that I have missed?

    Ernie

Technically, this isn't correct. They allow you the option to waive the fees if you don't want access to the "perks" that come with the resort fee. i.e. You use the wifi in the room, they will charge you even if you waived paying the resort fees.

I would have to look it up but I do believe they changed it this year so that diamond does get the resort fee items without paying the resort fee contrary to how it was previous. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere. They also reduced some stuff 7stars get like made it only one movie per day in the rooms complimentary and they changed the dates the program runs. Used to be good til March if you made it the previous year now it's only good until end of January.

This was changed for the 2016 year. Effective January 1st you receive all the resort fee "perks" such as Wi-Fi and you still get the resort fee waived. (I confirmed this on my trip in February)

Just to be clear, what is the "shelf life" of diamond status? Let's say I was to put in a bunch of VP/slot play and earn "diamond in a day". How long would that status survive for? Suppose I was to attain diamond today - and I was to play green chip blackjack for say four trips in the next 12 months... could I expect to retain diamond status based on that play, or would I have to earn it all over again after a certain period of time?

    Notfromconcentrate,

You have to earn 15000 Tier credits in a calendar year to maintain the Diamond status for next year plus one month ( earn 15000 TC in 2016, you will be good till end of January 2018)

if you get diamond in a day - you get status for the rest of the current year plus one entire fiscal year - so it's good up until Jan 31st of 2018. If you don't get enough tier points between Jan 2017 and Jan 2018, then it stops on Jan 2018.

The only other thing I can think of is priority lines for cabs. There is also some soft of free drink happy hour at I think it was Linq and Cromwell at a certain time.

I'm not really sure that you get a free cabana anywhere with Diamond status. That would be a new one for me.
Front of the line for shuttles and taxis between CET hotels.

Wow, not going to lie, those perks are pretty worth it, especially given the point accelerators that TR offers. I spend $300 on resort fees alone in a year.

I have a question about the free shows... Do you get the tickets each calendar month or a pair each month time period. For example, I'm going to Vegas from 3/29 to 4/3. Can I get free tickets for March and April while on the same trip?

Your list is a good overview. There are sometimes some "regional" events, and benefits as well.

For those people who only go to vegas once or so per year, for only a few days, the benefits probably don't sound like much, however, if you go more often, and stay for longer periods 5+ days per trip, and also gamble regionally at CET properties, the benefits increase in value.

    - At some hotels, such as Bally's, Flamingo, Caesars, Harras, there is actually a separate room to check in for Seven Stars, Diamond (and sometimes even platinum). That room has Free bottles of water at check in (or any other time you can just drop in and ask and they will give you as many as you want. This is nice just before you are heading up to the room at night to have a couple of nice cold bottles of water to hydrate). Depending on the resort, those check in areas also have cookies, fruit or other snack items, coffee, and have also had champagne at times. Many times at Flamingo, Linq & bally's I've seen the normal check in lines that would easily take an hour or more to navigate, but with the preferred status check in is around 5-10 minutes.

    - Most of the buffets (Rio, Flamingo, Bacchanal) including skipping the line also have special seating areas for Diamond/7 star. At flamingo it is down by the lake/water/zoo, Rio has a seperate room, Bacchanal has a divided area as well as reserved tables by the desserts or close to the actual buffet. One thanksgiving I overheard someone saying they waited over 2 hours in line at Bach anal and we were seated in about 5 minutes.

    - At Ak-Chin in Phoenix drinks are not free like they are in Vegas, however, you get free drinks in the diamond lounge (which is actually a sit down restaurant there), and you can take drinks out of the diamond lounge there (not in vegas except water), AND you get 4 Free drink vouchers in the actual casino each day which can be used for any drink including premium drinks, red bull, blender drinks, etc.

    - Turn Down Service (with chocolates) and Free newspaper - This is for the premium properties Ceasars, Ak-Chin

    - Ability to have slot personal "Lock" a machine for you if you are going to dinner. This is a controversial benefit but just ask and they will do it. I think diamond is 2 hours, and 7 stars 4 hours.

    - Ability to Valet park at any CET property even when there lot is full.

    - Special Valet parking line separate from the normal line.

    - Move to the top of the waiting list for any full poker game(s).

    - Free High Roller Tickets

@kicknit987 - It's per month, so you can get them for march and April. Same for the high roller, you can get 2 sets.

Sweet, thanks! Was hoping for that answer.

As for the high roller tickets, do you have to use them the same day you get them?

You also get priority boarding on the CET shuttles from Rio to Harrahs and Ballys.
At Caesars Windsor, you get a special parking,

Also, when I was at the Rio I-Bar in November playing .25 video poker, I asked for Crown Royal Reserve, and initial reply was "they did not have it", but then, the bartender noticed Diamond Card, and said "oh, you are Diamond, yes I can get you Crown Reserve". Poured it from the bottle.
