I keep hearing about them but I could only find one thing that said the suites were done. So has any rooms really been remodeled and have you stayed in one?

Paris and Planet Hollywood announcements were a fraction of their room totals (possible comped High Roller rooms or maybe suites, perhaps?).

In my opinion, it just makes it a little harder to get any comped room upgrades with the $20 sandwich trick if the lowest cost rooms are now more expensive.

    That's all I could find.

I know that the majority of suites are currently undergoing renovation. For our annual MM opening weekened trip we are staying at Paris this year, and my brother always stays in a Charlemagne suite there (i just have a red room).

But his host told him last month that the suite inventory will be way down during that time frame (3rd weekend at March) due to renovations. She was originally looking at other properties, but wound up putting him in a Calais suite, figuring that he wouldn't get bumped from that.

Not sure if this suite will be renovated, also not sure about the regular rooms.

Can you give use an update when you return? If they are remodeling just suites or if they are remodeling all rooms.

I stayed at Paris last week. The suites are definitely being remodeled. I usually get put in a suite on the top floors facing the fountains but got a crappy view facing Ballys on a low floor because of the remodeling.

Stayed in Paris a couple of weeks ago. The host put us in a suite and we asked to be moved the next day. The safe was so high up I would have had to stand on a chair to get into. I'm short but my husband's not and even he had a hard time reaching into it to confirm it was empty. The furniture was old and chipped and the carpet was filthy. There are things to be said for having a patterned carpet to hide the dirt.

I said a regular, remodelled room was fine. The gal in the Diamond Lounge said the rooms hadn't been remodelled in eight years. It was a dump too. It it wasn't for the casino, it would be a two star room.

    Never again for Paris.

forgot about this thread, during our march stay, both CP rooms in augustus were renovated, the red room we put some friends in at paris was not renovated during the march 24th-28th stay...one of our friends had insulin and it needs to be cold, we called down for a refrigerator and they said to use the minibar for that. the bar was empty of everything so you wouldnt be charged for moving things but it didnt get cold. they just decided to keep it on ice during the trip

My 30th floor Red Room last August seemed in good shape. Hopefully a remodeled suite this August.

We are going June 15-22. We have been staying at Planet Hollywood, but are going back to Paris for the pool. Our host said we have a suite. We have stayed in Calais before, and they are nice. A modern update would be cool. Mainly, I REALLY want that great Fountain/Eiffel Tower view.
