Yes......I married my wife in Vegas ( Tropicana's garden area ).
    Was it 2006 ?......2007 ?.............okay...I'm not sure.....but don't tell my wife !
    *
    I had a verbal pre-nup agreement :
    VEGAS !!!
"I will ALWAYS have VEGAS - no matter what !
I CAN RETURN TO VEGAS ....it will never end !"
    She agreed.
She has been to Vegas with me.....an uncountable amount of times.
I've been going since circa 1990.
    *
I haven't been to Vegas in........?......5 years = this Spring.
My son is 4 yrs old, now.
I would NOT travel to Vegas with him or without him.......
    until recently.........now ?......I've been missin' VEGAS......I think it's time I go...again.
..I mentioned VEGAS - one day to my wife.
    "Let's go !....?"
She said ( and I quote ! )......"forget Vegas !...for you...it's over."
    .
    .
    Oh ?.........this is not good.....:nono:
    I let it go.....for the moment......gotta pick your battles.....time + place.
    .
    .
    So ?
    I gotta divorce her.....right ?

Some day. Some casino is gonna come up with a 24 hour kiddie day care. Dump them off/pick them up any time day or night. Maybe even leave them in the car with the Valet for convenience. There could be casino toys like mini slot machines and blackjack trainers...near beers and candy cigarettes.

Kids Quest (Inside a few Station properties) isn't quite open 24 hours a day, but their hours are pretty long:

    Monday - Thursday 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
    Friday-Saturday 10:00 AM - 1:00 AM
    Sunday 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Joe, you've got your priorities all wrong. Vegas is 1st, Last, and Always - kidding...I like your humor...

    a) If you have a local casino, that may have to do for a few more years til your wife is ok with leaving the little one home.

    b) Sweet talk your wife into a long weekend or 3-4 day trip, and have grandma and grandpa stay with the precious little one
    1) be sure to let her know the secret to having a long and happy marriage is to have some 'together' time - alone - and now is that time - and Vegas is that place.
    2) remind her that Grandma and Grandpa really need some special bonding time with their grandson.
    3) let her know y'all can face time or skype with him several times a day with your son.

All kidding aside, nothing is more precious or important than those early years with your babies, then toddlers, and before you know it, you will be sending him off to college - hope y'all find a compromise that works for everyone now that he is a little older. Believe me, as a grandparent - I encourage our two daughters to let us babysit our grandsons whenever they like, so they can have a little time together with their spouses - and those times are so special for us and for our grandsons; I wouldn't trade that time with them for anything - and that is saying a lot because we love Vegas!

So here is what you do.... Get on your knees and beg like the DEGENERATE you are! Lol. No, kidding. You must get a divorce before you lose your manhood! No I guess not. Ok here you go.... You LIE!! Yes that's it you LIE! Tell your wonderful wife your buddy packer got you guys 3 nights at the Wynn and it's all paid for from my comps! Tell her due to your gaming 6 years ago they are going you 2k in promo chips. Then let her know upon arrival they are giving you a 500 gift certificate for Nordstrom!
Of course before you go you buy a Nordstrom GC, pay for the room upfront without her knowing and when you get there cash in for 1000 in chips and say this is what came from the free play and give it to her. then my friend you should have no issues and know one week ever be the wiser.
    How is that?
You can also do like I did. Get married at wynn and divorced in LA!
Oh and if she is the one holding/hoarding all the families money then you don't deserve to go anyway!
    Good luck!

You've been a devoted father and sacrificed for 5 years.... that's in excess of 1825 days. And she won't let you go to Vegas for a couple of days? Tell her I said stop being silly.....:poke: She should be thankful her son's dad is not a deadbeat.

Better yet, have your son stay with the Grandparents and BOTH of you go to Vegas. Make another baby so you can stay home again for another 5 years......:evillaugh:wink2:

I'm with Geogran and Electroguy; your son goes to the grandparents and you and your wife have a blast in Vegas.

Does she want more kids? Then you hold the trump card. Pull a Beeejay and demand the get out town for Vegas card if she wants more children. That's the only plausible option besides divorce or lying and going solo (which presents its own set of problems). Good luck working it out.

Red Rock Casino is the answer. Bring your whole family and problem solved. Plenty to do for everyone.

Tell her the band is getting back together and you are doing a West Coast tour and you will be in Vegas for 5 nights opening for Mary Steenbergen in the Palms lounge.

Then tell her the rest of the tour got cancelled.

I am not sure if this is a joke or not, well I know the divorce part is...But seriously? If your wife doesn't want to go to Vegas that is her choice, but she seriously would get mad if you wanted to go a few days away to Vegas alone or with friends? What is the big deal? I am sure she can manage a four year old alone for a few days, and I am sure if she came to you and wanted to go away for a girls trip for a few days somewhere else, you would be ok with that right?
