Out of about eighty trips this will be the first time in town on my birthday and I missed it by two weeks. Think you guys could roll that wheel out a little early?

Well, I saw it last week.
On your birthday, you spin a small wheel on the counter. Yes, you could land on 1x 2x or 3x ( of your age).
You could (more likely ) also land on 0, nothing, nada.

Yolla, can you confirm/comment on either of these?

If I saw a post about birthday freeplay, went down to the Plaza, and they made me get 500 points first, and then spin a wheel with an option for 0x, I think I'd be pretty miffed. Actually if I went in expecting neither and saw both, I think I'd likely walk right back out and not return. Those are some pretty important details to leave to "see players club for details" if true.

I'm kinda bummed I can't do the $500 promo because I had a card at an OLD sister property they no longer own. Ridiculous. OH well, no playing there for me, but I'll go see the Scintas!

Yolla is very active on the boards, so I find it curious that Yolla has not replied to your query yet. The silence is telling.

I was there last week for my birthday. I specifically asked about the birthday promotion and was told by a worker at the club card booth that I would have to earn 500 points on my birthday ($1 on slots = 1 point), then go back to the booth before the end of the day on my birthday. Once the worker verified that I earned 500 points on my birthday, I would get my age in free play dollars.

I could keep that, or risk it all by spinning a small wheel and possibly multiplying the amount, up to 3X. Here's the catch (you knew there had to be one, right?): there are 0X and 1/2X slots on the wheel, so you could end up losing all the free play or end up with half of the free play.

I took a look at the wheel and made some notes. The wheel has 16 slots with the following values in slots 1 through 8:
    0X
    1X
    2X
    1/2X
    3X
    2X
    1/2X
    1X
Slots 9 through 16 repeat the values in the same order.

Needless to say, I was disappointed. I barely do $500 through in slots per day at my host casino, so I knew there was no way I would reach 500 points at the Plaza. Oh, well.
