    My Trip Report

They always say, if a headline asks a question, the answer is always "no" but let's hope it's not the case this time.

Leaving tomorrow am from JFK on virgin america in main cabin select (ie econ plus/ ie free drinks, snacks, movies)
as of now we have the row to ourselves (wife and i) so we decided not forgo an upgrade to first class.

Usually we just pay upfront and stay at encore tower suites, but this time we decided to take a comp resort room so we can enter the "timepiece a day giveaway" (wife's idea)

It's one of those entry for every 5k points you earn so i'm sure we have no shot at a real prize but they do have a finale drawing that you actually have to be there to win. if we hit 50th or better for $500 free play i'll be surprised
the dream is to hit for a lot of free play and "have" to come back next week for the superbowl to play it off... :evillaugh

wife already said that if we hit one of the better watches 100/75/50k we have to take the cash, so maybe one of the cheaper watches would actually be better for me!

no plans yet, except dinner at luxor thursday night. Wife's parents good friend who happens to be our real estate agent (and degen vp player) is staying there and wants to take us out for dinner on her comp so we have to make the trip down there. i'm sure tender is no SW, but we all have to make sacrifices sometimes..lol

would also like to try to get some play and drinks in at cosmo. i haven[t been a fan in the past but all i read is good things lately.

Here a small list of things i'd like to do so i can recap and see what i actually did:

    win $$ -110
smoke a nice cigar (i smoke maybe 2 a year on average) -220
    drink macallan 12 -999
    macallan 18 -1100
    macallan 25 +220

attempt to get the broken rivet on my louis vuitton duffel bag fixed -550
actually get it fixed in store -110
get some story about it having to be flown back to france to fix +100

win more $$ than i'm down on $wynn stock in the last 6 months +500
    checkout encore players club -110
actually buy a table there +220

    eat at sinatra -110
    SW -220
jardin -220 (menu doesn't look that great but it's "new" and beautiful venue)

going to try to "unplug" this trip and not take a laptop, no work email, etc... so all updates will be on my phone with the tapatalk app.

Subcribed! You are headed to my happy place! I can't wait to try Jardin. As you can imagine, I love "Flowers" and the garden area outside the restaurant as well as the decor inside are absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to enjoy a meal there.

    Great plans! & Good luck

On the LV bag - repairs usually get sent to California. Last repair I had took a month but it was sewing.

Like that you stated with lots of pictures!

Very little traffic this morning so we made great time to JFK.

Don't fly out of t4 often but man is the priority security setup bad, they combine priority with guests in wheelchairs so it creeps.. Regular screening prob. Would have been faster.

Sitting in the wingtips lounge now. They moved the lounge since the last time I was here. The new one isn't nearly as nice but atleast it's got a self serv bar and clean bathrooms. I doubt it's worth the $27 entry fee (free with priority pass, but additional guest have to pay)
