Thinking of my changing my spring trip (big surprise) to Bellagio. I see from my offer book that I now have a host at the Bellagio. I have never needed or wanted a host as my Bellagio offers are normally very good. The exception to this was one time for some reason a few years ago, a seasonal offer wasn't generated for me (and not because of poor play), so I called this host. She would do NOTHING for me, except have marketing book me an offer (a crappy offer). I stayed at the MGM Grand that trip.

And lucky me - now the woman who would do nothing for me - is my host. If I call and book my offer through VIP marketing, will she still get credit for my play. Yes, I hold a grudge :).

I would see about changing My host. Bellagio should be happy to do that rather than lose a customer. AFAIK, at mLife, all the casinos are treated as separate properties and they are all in competition for your business.

I have a host at MGM Grand that I can recommend, but no one at Bellagio.

Thanks. I'll look into that. I really just don't need a host. My offers are always good enough!

I believe that if you book thru VIP marketing she will still get credit for your play. They may even insist you book thru her and transfer the call. That's happened to me before. Let us know what happens if you decide to stay there.

You do not have to talk with or meet your host. Your play is but one of hundreds she will be dealing with that week. You and her could care less. Since you do not want a host, no sense in switching as the new one may think they have to interact with you to make up for whatever happened with the old one.

Thanks all. I guess I made a bad assumption. Bellagio sends these big marketing books that show your current offer. Mine have always just said to call VIP marketing, but the most recent listed this host. I assumed this meant she was my host. But when I called VIP marketing, they said I didn't have a host.

So, just call me happy and "hostless" in Minnesota.

So now I have Aria booked for May and Bellagio for June, one of which I'll eventually cancel.

We have been staying a Bellagio periodically for years among other mlife properties. Sometimes paperwork referenced a host but we never met them. Last trip she stopped to see us in person. Didn't do anything beyond that but tell me at checkout she couldn't waive the resort fee because there was a new rule about minimum play levels. First resort fee we've paid in 10 years or more. We have a offer we got by email booked for February. I expect then she will let me know she can't waive the parking fee. Trip after that we may go elsewhere.

Why cancel one? No one will blame you if you take both trips.
