I've never had lobster, outside a buffet, in Vegas. But did anyone else have this image flash in their mind?

We had lobster at The Palm restaurant in the Forum Shoppes in Caesars.
    It was fairly decent.

I ate at rosewood grille 3 or 4 times. It was expensive but I remember it as being very good.

I know you're looking for a lobster (tail) meal but I love Lobster Me at PH. I love my lobster with just butter, not mixed in any sauce or with mayo (as is the Maine lobster roll). So I get the Connecticut lobster roll. Good stuff. I had good lobster at Buzios at the Rio.

It's just lobster meat and butter. It's delicious and far better than the Maine roll IMO.

I'm sure there are some great Maine rolls out there but the Connecticut was far better than the Maine at Lobster Me.

I could never afford it but some restaurant at the Wynn has live lobsters in a huge tank.
That would be my best guess for the best lobster in Vegas. I don't mean a Red Lobster type tank
    it is enormous and CLEAN.

Someone else mentioned Vic and Anthonys at the Nugget... have to agree. Was the best 2lb tail I ever had. Yes just the Tail was 2 lbs. Usually bigger tails get tough but this was perfect. My husband and I shared it along with steak. Making me dream about it in writing this. It was amazing. Truly filled a whole plate before the waiter took it to split for us.

To me it's blasphemy to mix something as great as lobster with mayo. Yuck lol. Give me the sweet lobster meat with melted butter. MMMMMMMMMMM.

    :)

I may have to look into the Vic & Anthonys.

Last trip I had a myvegas reward for the steakhouse inside excalibur. It was delicious, and I have been talking about it since. I am torn between going there again, or trying somewhere new for the fun of it. Or maybe both, I think I could eat lobster every day :)

For some reason and no offense to you at all but when I read that the scene from the Blues Brothers where Jake and Elwood are in Chez Paul flashed in my mind! Mike holding up his water glass for champagne!

    How much for your woman??

Man are you right. I am from CT. The perfect (and only real) lobster roll = lobster, butter and a toasted bun. Period. End of story. The lobster meat needs to be the star. I am ashamed to admit I am from New England when most (all?) other NE states put mayo, celery and God only knows what else on a lobster roll. To me that is like putting anti-freeze on a cheese burger.

Michael Mina at the Bellagio makes a lovely lobster pot pie which my husband had on our last trip. We, however, live in CT also. I like my lobster meat on a toasted bun with melted butter and nothing else. Perfect summer meal.
