CET tier credit bonus for 2016

I see that both bonuses just posted to my account. Was anyone else pleasantly surprised?

Nope, haven't received ours yet. I only had the 30th and 31st of December to qualify for this but the 30th was a 2,800 tc day and got the 5,000 bonus so watching and waiting for this one

 

If I recall correctly, 7800 TC would equal about 780 bonus TC at most.

<Correction it was 20%, not 10%, so about 1500TC>

 

Got mine - both for the reaching the diamond aspirations and for the play from Oct to Dec.

DH has not got his yet.

 

Not sure what the plan was, but I have not been to CET since mid December, but now have 21,000 Tier (not RCs)

 

You get 5,000 if you got 40,000
Another 5,000 if you got 80,000
And 20% of your oct-dec credits

 

I got mine, diamond aspiration one and the bonus from November. I should easily get diamond on our trip next month.

 

My TC bonus just landed in my account today as well.

 

I was pretty shocked to login yesterday and see a whooping 21,000 TR credits already on my account.

CET seems to be moving pretty fast this year.

 

I was expecting the max 20,000, received 30,000. Thought CET screwed up, thanks for the explanation!

I hate to sound cynical but I wonder if this is a prelude to changes coming in the tier system. CET is generous but they always have an ulterior motive.

 

Well I look at it this way. The diamond aspirations TR credit is kinda a bullshit tier benefit they throw in, that does not really do anything for someone who reaches those levels already. If your racking up 40K and 80K in TR credits most likely your gonna make diamond regardless.

The end of quarter bonus is kinda an incentive for players who have already hit their tiers who might slow play the final quarter. Unless you are chasing 7 stars, why play heavy in Q4 if you have already hit your tier. So I think its more a keep the cash flow strong kinda thing. Either way TR credits cost them nothing, unless people who would not normally hit diamond level get there via the bonus.

Either way the end effect for long time Diamond level players is that the tier status value is diluted. Like I have commented on other posts. You have to be a 7 star to get some of the same level of benefits I was getting 5 years ago as a Diamond player. Even the Aspirations Level 3 they took away was better. The whole bonus structure which was setup to push people to reach certain ADT levels and increase cash flow is a BS program if you ask me, meant to service the company rather than the player, and I hope it dies soon.

FYI, I think CET has already made the changes to the program for 2016. Moving up the renewal date to Feb is a pretty big move, since they basically took away a whole month of Tier level benefits for certain players. I would not expect any other major changes given that CET tweaks their program slowly to avoid alienating the base. Surprised to see I have not gotten a renewal gift offer this year so far this year.

No, I think it will be more like 1,500 ~ 100 for each 500 TC's earned. Doesn't matter, they're extra TC's I wouldn't have had anyways.

 

Yep, I'm a low level Diamond for about 5 years now

I looked at my TR account yesterday and Copy/paste
"MY CURRENT TIER
DIAMOND
UNTIL January 31st, 2017"

It always use to say till March of following year.

 

This makes me wish I had of gone late in the 2015! I'm at 7,543 but all of those were earned last week. I should be at 8,545ish, I literally missed the 1,000 points in a day on my last day by two or three points. I hate how unpredictable points are at the table, it all depends on the pitboss, dealer, etc. Oh well, shouldn't have any problem getting back to diamond next trip

 

always make sure the pit boss notices you, keep getting his attention throughout the game, he will track you better...also before you leave check with him and see where he has you...

now if you check your points on totalrewards.com it used to take till 8-10am before it would display your last play points...now i noticed even with table games, its loading your current points within 20 minutes of leaving the table so you can see if you made it to your bonus level or not
